This is a good stop off campsite for a few days. Plus points - the beautiful quiet lake that is accessible by a private jetty at the back of the campsite. It is quiet and great for swimming. The toilets are constantly cleaned and there are loads of them, as well as showers so you never have to wait. The bar and restaurant have friendly staff and good value coffee and pastries. The shop also has good local products like ham and cheese. The location is good for access to the villages nearby and you get free public transport. There are tent pitches available, even with grass but are located right next to the main noisy road. The campsite is heavily geared towards large campers. Pitches are rocky. There are two tent spaces, in an L shape. The short bit of the L is by the road, the long bit is at the edge of the property and is very quiet.
There's a small market open only in the mornings and the evenings. At 7:30 am there is fresh bread available.
The swimming spot is really beautiful and fun. Though it's a wooden floating dock/jetty, so it's very dangerous for kids who can't swim.
The staff was very helpful and nice. The facilities clean and large. Really a...
