Booked this hotel as we were visiting relatives close by and I liked the look of it and it did not disappoint.|Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.|The gardens were well presented and cleaned daily.|The restaurant food is great as we ate there a lot however the breakfast could have been better as it was the same thing everyday.|Also if your using the pool make sure you bring a cap for your hair as we didn’t bring one with us and we couldn’t use the indoor pool & we really didn’t want to use the ones they give out to guests :s|So we made use of the outdoor pool which was quite cold but refreshing once you got in.|The hotel room we had was a standard and it was cleaned daily.|I have just a couple of issues with the room and those were:|1) the shower stall could be made a bit bigger I’m a size UK 14 and if your any bigger than this it would be a problem getting in and trying not to bang your elbows of the sides as you wash.|2) this may not be an issue for most people but the mattress was too hard for me but luckily there was a quilt in the wardrobe so I could use as a topper to give me that extra comfort. |As I say these are just small issues and why I still give a 4 star rating.||Alissa, sorry if I spelt your name wrong, on reception was brilliant and the other staff was also fantastic...
Read moreAs an American traveling to my grandfathers birthplace, it would have been fine. It seemed there was a football match and the players from both teams stayed at the hotel. So it was a little noisy. They do not really speak English at the hotel, but you know what, it would have been a bonus if they did, but I could not expect them to either. I was in Italy. I had a pre-paid voucher which they said was no good, and because of the language barrier, I could not straighten out. Hopefully the booking company will reimburse me. Also the Air Conditioning did not work. Becuase of the noise we had to keep the windows shut and it was unbearable. They had noother rooms to give us or at least that is what we understood. We had a reservation for a honeymoon suite but I am sure a room with a balcony overlooking roofing and the resturant was not a honeymoon suite. So it was not pleasant stay. I think if we want during a cooler time of year, it might not have been so unpleasant. But the room itself was nice and clean. the bathroom was fine. Despite the voucher problem, I think if the AC was working it would have been a...
Read moreWe were travelling from Lecce to Napoli and prior to travelling looked for a decent, inexpensive place to stay to break up the trip.||The hotel is located adjacent to the national road in the Irpino mountain, in a small town called Ariano Irpino.||It mostly caters to gatherings and ceremonies. Don’t pick this hotel based on the offer of an outdoor pool; it is too small and apparently its usage is restricted due to events taking place. It was reasonably crowded with people during our overnight stay, but I should make it clear that we were not bothered by noise.||The hotel does host a 20 metre indoor pool and a spa, which we did not use.||The infrastructure seemed modern and welcoming. Breakfast was quite good, particularly by usual (rather frugal) Italian standards. ||For dinner options you will not be spoiled for choice in Ariano Irpino. Or rather, you’d better enjoy your pizza; we had trouble finding a place serving any other fare.||In all I can’t blame the place, staff was welcoming and the infrastructure is OK but be prepared for the type of hotel...
