Casa Tavasso — Hotel in Asti

Casa Tavasso was a wonderful find when we stopped over in Asti on our way to Tuscany. We arrived while it was snowing and were warmly greeted outside (with umbrellas) to help us in. The B&B is about 750 years old but has been beautifully modernized. We loved just walking around to see the decorations and different areas of the B&B. We had 2 triple rooms. They were a very nice size with well updated bathrooms. With age I would have anticipated some issues but the heating worked great and the shower had great water pressure and temperature consistency. We had a lovely and varied breakfast in the morning with pastries, toast, jams, fruit, yogurt, meats and cheeses. Between our stay here and our winery tour nearby, we were sorry we hadn't planned more time in the region. We will happily stay here again as we plan a return visit in the...

The owner is very kind, ready to give the best satisfaction. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom with the full equipment, very clean towels dried in the garden, smelling the garden. Casa Tavasso looks like an English cottage, settled down in Italy where you really feel at home, with simplicity and a great sympathy. The breakfast was available according to our demand. Some fresh homemade bread was ready for us with a great choice of Italian cheeses and ham, but we could take also some cereals with yogurt, fruits juice, coffee, tea, hot/cold milk with/without chocolate... Really, it's a place to be where we could admire the mountains from our balcony.... For sure, we will go back there to spend more time and relax in a small paradise...

We had a very pleasant stay in this very homely, clean and recently refurbished to a very high standard establishment, quiet surrounding and nothing was ever a problem for our hosts to make our stay special. The rooms are exceptional and the bathrooms are as big as they ever get, plus wireless internet is a nice bonus. Bruno speaks quite good English but Emma Bruno’s daughter speaks perfect English and French so communicating is never a problem, all this combined with easy to payment with card and kind on the price to boot, makes this small family hotel a winner.
