Belforte — Hotel in Belforte Monferrato

The address given when typed into our usually reliable SATNAV took us everywhere but the hotel. It is actually on an 'industrial' estate opposite a glass factory. On arrival the girl seemed initially quite grumpy but when we saw her the next morning at breakfast making coffee, clearing tables as well as goining backwards and forwards to the reception desk this explained her manner......she was simply tired. Parking is plentiful, the rooms are cool (great air con) the breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the coffees were made to order - really good. Our room had an ensuite shower with loo and bidet but the loo was squashed into the corner and was quite cramped. The room had a balcony which had a view of the hills and motorway but with the windows closed the room was very quiet and peaceful. It was a little drive into town to get an evening meal. I stayed here for a few nights whilst on a business trip, the hotel is just off the motorway with a supermarket close by, the building is quite new and clean throughout and the receptionists spoke a good level of English.|The rooms are of a decent standard as you would expect from being fairly new.|At breakfast there was a good selection to choose from.|The hotel has free wifi but could only access in reception which was disappointing.|I was shocked to find out they have no bar or restaurant available on an evening and had to venture out to eat each night and find somewhere to eat.|Overall a reasonable stay and ideal for just bed...

Hotel was quite clean.|Shower is extremely small.|Location is excellent for one night stay as we were travelling .|Breakfast was very good. |We were disappointed with price of room as we were 2 people.. and because they only had a room with a double and a small bunkbed cot, which was easily transportable out of the room, we were charged the price of a quadruple room .. so we paid 150 euros instead of 110 euros.. |at 150 euros for 2 people , definitely not worth the price difference. |We discussed this with the lady at checkout and she was very rude. Disappointed...
