We visited il frutteto with group of friends in August 2018 and can honestly say that everything exceeded our expectations. After booking through home away we had mixed feelings when searching through web looking for photos and reviews but as soon as we arrived everything changed. We were greeted by John & Sue who went that extra mile ensuring we have everything we need. You cannot ask for better hosts who are there when you need them but yet stay out of your way. Place itself is beautiful and full of charm, views to die for, secluded and peaceful. Kids had plenty of fun in the swimming pool which John would clean every morning so that you don't have to worry about anything. Rooms are huge and each comes with modern ensuite bathroom. Kitchen comes with everything you might need and same as rest of the house is in very good condition, from what we have been told, house has only been finished 2 years ago. Restaurants & Sea side are approximately 15 minutes drive from the Villa, shopping 10 minutes and if you like water parks you are looking at 20 minutes drive. I honestly could go on and on about how great everything was... If you are looking for privacy, place that would accommodate needs of adults and kids, hosts that are extremely understanding, country side with beautiful views and location which is easily accessible look no further and book il frutteto ;) please feel free to msg me as I would be happy to answer any questions you might have...
Read moreWe spent a week at Il Frutteto B&B, using it as a base for exploring this amazing region of Italy. The room we had was wonderfully large and comfortable, well equipped and plenty big enough for us as a couple. ||||The owners, Sue & John, were very welcoming & hospitable and couldn’t do enough for us.||||We really enjoyed the peace & tranquillity and the views are breath-taking. The location is very rural, so you do need a car, although there are shops and restaurants a short drive away. The coast, with its lovely beaches & fish restaurants is about 20 minutes away, and the mountains about an hour away in the other direction, inland. There is also a very reliable & cheap bus service from the local village, which we took to Rome for the weekend – 2 hours away through the mountains.||||The house is set in beautiful rolling countryside with its own olive grove and garden and has a lovely terrace for enjoying a glass of wine (or two!) & for soaking up the sun. It's a wonderfully relaxing place to spend a few days and we are looking forward to returning to try out the local...

The hosts are very welcoming and share their love of this spectacular region.....they can organise local olive oil and wine tasting trips and will recommend good places to visit. We will...
