what a find! if you like to get away from it all this is the place for you, the scenery is breathtaking, the rooms are basic but very clean and everything you need, Antonella the owner is lovely, very friendly and helpful, she offered to cook us an evening meal when we arrived which was wonderful, I suggested she offered cookery classes to visitors. The views from the upper terrace are amazing, the village is very quiet with one local bar, when we arrived we stopped to ask the locals where the house was a girl jumped in her car and proceeded to show us the way, we were astounded by her helpfulness, you would need a car here as there is not a lot in the village but well worth it!||Ideal location for visiting Cinque terre which we did, Antonella gave us all the information we needed to visit these beautiful places by train, it was very easy to do, we had a...

Very beautiful place and a really sweet host that cares for her guests to have a great stay. The room is clean and comfortable. The host makes good dinner that we enjoyed on the beautiful terrace. Took photos of some of the food but we got five courses so it was much more than the photos shows!

We had a rental car and went during the day to Cinque Terre, it only took 20 min to drive to the public central station parking in La Spezia. If you have a car - staying here and a bit away from La Spezia and Cinque Terre is a great way to save some money but at the same time have a lovely stay and drive in the beautiful countryside of Italy at the same time!

😊: Sabrina and family were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and most enjoyable. Sabrina made dinner for us three days in a row - these were amazing traditional Italian dishes which were absolutely delicious. Originally we were planning to stay 2 nights but extended our stay a further night as we enjoyed ourselves so much. Prior to arriving at Country House La Scortia we had had an unfortunate incident in Lucca, and Sabrina went out of her way to assist us with local authorities to resolve. If you have the opportunity to stay with Sabrina, I urge you to have one of her very special dinners...
