Residence Villa Andrea - Marina di Camerota — Hotel in Camerota

I had a second floor apartment, overlooking the garden/pool area and the rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable...thank God for that a/c. Small kitchen perfect for us to pick up some light groceries for our daily outings and to have snacks and cold drinks at hand was always great. The pool was serene and blue. The walk to ocean beach was just the place to spend the day sunbathing. Tours of the marina and caves was suggested by the hosts of the Residence and was a great experience too. Great family place, meeting families from all over and made new friends too based on how the residence is situated and the informality of it all. Lovely hosts. Even check-in in the night was possible. When we left we even got a bottle of red wine. Only the apartment had some issues. We had to ask 2 times for a malfunction of hot water. Couldn't take a shower. Also the kitchen air vent was broken. And we love to cook and drink wine. The kitchen equipment was limited and there were no wine glasses. And the last thing, unfortunate something the host has limited influence on: some of the other Italian guests, especially the children, were very noisy and loud, from the afternoon to the late evening. We had a great stay at this residence…. consisting of two bedrooms with kitchen which I needed because I had my Grandson visiting with me. The little apartment had a balcony overlooking the courtyard and pool. The owners Yolanda and Sandro were perfect hosts as also all the people we encountered there ! There is parking available and the town is reached by auto … its a little bit of walk ! There is a great beach within walking distance and availability of lounge chairs and umbrella. I highly recommend this residence and I will definitely be back !...
