Read moreA stay at Il Vigno means a unique and unspoiled taste of Tuscany, far from the overcrowded touristic sights.||Marc and Adria have crafted something truly beautiful in their home stay, leaning into the tranquility and remoteness of the property’s surroundings is one of Il Vigno’s greatest strengths. The place is completely surrounded by forests and rolling hills, the only sounds you’ll hear are of nature. The rooms are tasteful, comfortable and simply appointed but everything you need is right there.||The hosts are warm, helpful, great to chat with (and also not overbearing leaving you to enjoy your stay as you want), and the family style dinners are wonderful and generous, not aways typically Italian from the menu but offering fusion, great ingredient and fresh with a lot of ingredients from the garden. Our feast was a highlight.||There’s also a lot of good things to say about this corner of Tuscany. We are so glad we stayed at Il Vigno as well because it brought us there. Not really catered for tourists, the local businesses and towns were calm, not action packed but genuinely beautiful, hospitable and relaxing places to be where you’ll mostly be amongst Italians. We spent a day during our stay driving to the popular destinations further away and personally couldn’t wait to escape back to Il Vigno’s part of the region away from the crowds!||Tips: The hosts’ recommendations are great. Anghiari included for great coffee and gelato. Another great experience was to the nearby water pools for a swim. Just be wary of ticks in the forest and wear appropriate clothing for that, it’s a wild place. ||Marc and Andria - thank you for a great stay and honeymoon experience ! We’ll...

Hosts and Crew Marc and Adria are amazing hosts—warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely welcoming. Their relaxed vibe sets the tone for the entire stay. The on-site crew, many of whom are friendly volunteers, create a laid-back and inviting environment that made me feel at home from the start.
Food The family-style dinner is certainly a highlight and absolutely worth joining. Chef Adria prepares delicious meals using their own homegrown vegetables and local ingredients, from appetizers to main course and desserts. It’s not just about the amazing food—it’s the shared experience of connecting with other guests from around the world over an absolutely delicious, homemade dinner.
Activities: The property features a pool, gardens, scenic hiking trails, and hidden rivers. If you’re up for exploring, I personally recommend nearby towns like Lama, Anghiari, and Caprese Michelangelo—just a short drive away. I also worked remotely for a few days using their on-site workspace, which has strong Wi-Fi and a very comfortable setup, perfect even for longer stays. Marc has stocked the library there with a great selection of books—including his own photography book, which was a thoughtful and inspiring touch.
Thank you, Marc, Adria, and the entire crew for an amazing stay and...
