Relais La Masseriola — Hotel in Castellana Grotte

This is undoubtedly one of the best places we stayed, wish we had booked it for a longer duration||Upon arrival we were welcomed by lovely & warm family of Mola, though they dint know much of English they did put extra effort to make us understand. ||The house was built in 1863 and we got to know a lot about the history.||The trullo was beautiful with tastefully done interiors and very clean. It is equipped with air conditioner, wi fi. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the cot good quality. The dining room is also a trullo which speaks by itself the history.||The homemade breakfast in the morning and was really good. Vita took us on a small tour around their property. They did show us their Horses, organic farm, orchids. It was very sweet of them to give us their produce like oranges, olive oil.||I would recommend B&B Relais la Masseriola as an option for anyone who wants to experience the unique and novel Trulli housing specific to this region of Puglia.||PEACEFUL & BLISS –yes it is.||Definitely a great place to relax ||We would go...

We stayed in the suite, 5 friends roaming around Puglia, We had a lovely time. The suite is very spacious, the beds really comfortable though the bathroom was a touch on the small side. The accommodation is adjacent to the farm and overlooking the countryside. The attractive courtyard and the rustic but nicely renovated breakfast room give the place a special feel. Si arriva alla Masseriola percorrendo una pittoresca stradina contornata da antichi muretti a secco, la bella, piccola, accogliente, masseria è a conduzione familiare, i proprietari sono gentilissimi e simpatici, le camere, alle quali si accede direttamente dall’esterno consentendo una totale autonomia, sono ben arredate, il letto è comodo, tutto è lindo e pulito, si fa colazione in una antica stalla di pietra bianca con il soffitto a volta magnificamente conservata, la colazione è ricca e gustosissima a base di prodotti preparati nella cucina dalla signora, troverete torte spettacolari di ricotta, di crema, crostate di marmellata, fioroni (fichi) con il prosciutto crudo, uno squisito formaggio fresco primo sale che proviene dal latte delle mucche ancora presenti nella nuova stalla della masseria.
