I regret to say that my recent encounter with La Loggia Villa Gloria was beyond disappointing. The level of service and professionalism exhibited by this establishment was shockingly inadequate, warranting a rating of 0/5.
A week before my intended stay, I received an abrupt notification informing me that my reservation had been canceled. Despite providing three valid credit cards, all attempts to process payment were inexplicably denied. This left me perplexed and frustrated, as I had made the reservation well in advance and was looking forward to my visit.
Attempting to address the issue, I made numerous calls to the hotel. Unfortunately, my attempts to reach a staff member were met with consistent failure. My numerous calls went unanswered, I must have called 10 times. I guess they didn't have the balls to talk to my face and solve the issue like a real business. The lack of responsiveness and unavailability of hotel staff is unacceptable and is a small part of a total lack of professionalism.
The inability of La Loggia Villa Gloria to communicate effectively and resolve payment issues is deeply concerning, or more accuraely: absent. As a paying customer, having booked minths in advance, I expected a smooth and hassle-free experience, but instead, I was met with frustration and a complete disregard for customer service.
Considering the unprofessionalism and lack of accountability displayed by La Loggia Villa Gloria, I strongly advise against choosing this hotel. There are numerous other establishments that uphold higher standards of service, respect, and customer care. It is evident that they fall far short of these basic expectations.
My experience with them was marked by disappointment and frustration. The villa itself is located in a very beautiful place, the views nearby are wonderful, but this is probably where all the definite pluses end. The staff... very, very bad. The girl at the reception barely spoke English, the room was not dirty, but the bedspreads and curtains - it's clear that no one has cleaned or updated them for a long time. The pool was closed... On the turn to the villa - a large asphalt hump, so as not to hit the bottom of the car, you need to drive VERY carefully. As if there is nothing critically bad, and as if there is nothing to praise. But - the most interesting thing began after our departure from the villa. When my friend and I were leaving - we called the staff to take the room. They refused, because they were very busy with something - they were talking to each other.. And after our departure, my friend who booked the room received a message that they couldn't find the bedspread, apparently we stole it... It was very unpleasant, but at first it wasn't critical - we wrote that the bedspread was folded in the closet on the top shelf (because it was... dusty, and it wasn't pleasant to use it), and they might not have noticed it. My friend wrote and called the villa for three days in a row to make sure that the bedspread had been found. At first there was no answer, no one picked up the phone, then, after contacting Booking, a couple of days later the hotel replied that the bedspread had been found on the premises, and it was wet and dirty... And the hotel wanted 90 euros for it... I concluded that the staff solved some of their issues this way. I don't think the hotel owner wanted to make money on those euros, but the owner definitely doesn't control the staff and doesn't require them to treat guests well. Thank you Booking for resolving this issue in our favor, and I warn future guests that you may be charged with something, and the owner will not understand this...
