Podere Fontegallo — Hotel in Castiglione del Lago

We've been coming here for many years. Every time, everything was well organized and the communication was excellent. Whenever we needed anything, like clean towels or bed linens, we could just ask Elena. The surroundings were beautiful, and the cottage was in a lovely spot. It's a bit remote, but if you're looking for peace and quiet and a lovely pool, and an Nice view this place is definitely recommended. You can reach a larger village with a supermarket within fifteen minutes. We've stayed there for at least 10 days every year. Even my children love it here, especially because they can swim every day.

We have been coming to Fontegallo nearly every year since 2018. It is our favourite place away from home. It is hard to put into words how beautiful the surrounding area is, with its' beautiful mature trees and breathtaking views across the lake and hills beyond. The accommodation is super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to self cater. Elena is always on hand and is so friendly and warm, as are the owners, Dean and Dorit, who will point out local recommendations and (if you're lucky) share a jar of their home grown olives. We will be coming for many more years and couldn't recommend it...

An amazing panoramic view, elegant and authentic place. Absoultly not simmilar to anywere else. Placed on top of a hill, with a rich garden all arround.
