Acqua Verde — Hotel in Cefalù

We had a dissapointing time at this Spa. We booked the most expensive wellness experience. When we entered the first room, we discovered that the "emotional shower" is nothing but some red and blue led lights added to a hot and cold shower. When we entered one of the saunas, it seemed to be turned off. We asked the staff, but they dismissed it and were very pushy in their communication.

The massages weren't enjoyable at all, as the staff mostly stroked us very slowly and lightly, without really rubbing our muscles or tendons. We doubt the staff had any real experience at massaging. Besides, the music during the massages was distracting, not relaxing (even horse sounds were played in the soundtrack).

At the end of the wellness program we were served tea in an articial cave, but we had to leave the cave before our hot tea even cooled off enough to drink.

We did not visit the waterpark, but walked through it. It did not seem very inviting due to the loud party music going on the entire time.

Finally, it was difficult to communicate over the phone and at the service counter. Staff was not really able to answer our questions in English. This is of course a minor point, as we are foreign guests in this country, but it added to the mediocre experience.

The silver lining of the Spa is that the ambience is nice. The scenery is beautiful, but the lack of experience and hospitality of the staff left us with a sour taste. We recommend to avoid this place if you're looking for an authentic...

We enjoyed our time here very much, I have children 5yrs of age and under. They loved the baby zone and kids zone. We also tried two larger slides, and they were very fun. The tube slide line was a bit hectic as you have to wait two lines, one to get the tube and then walk to another line again for the actual slide. This took much more time than expected, and could be managed more efficiently or more tubes are needed to accommodate guests. The baby zone is fantastic, it did get busy a few times where children were not listening to the life gaurds ultimately resulting in kids sliding into each other and getting hurt. One child alone 7/8 yrs old slid into my 3 year old because she was not listening to the life guard. Also, for some reason lots of guests both adult and kids cut in line. Very frustrating when you are waiting long lines to see people do this. It happens many times but has nothing to do with the business itself. Some one unfortunately took my husband’s shoes from the baby zone and we had two sunbeds and one was slightly broken. Staff was very kind. pools and facility are clean. The aqua park is lots of fun. Metto 2 stelle solo perché nel complesso ho trascorso una bella giornata in compagnia della famiglia, ma se dovessi elencare tutto nello specifico non finirei più e comunque pur volendo giustificare tutto, sarebbe a prescindere da 1 stella.. premetto che non andavo in questo parco da 3 anni e in 3 anni è andato solo che a peggiorare..

1. tanto per cominciare 20 euro per l'ingresso più 8 euro per la postazione (2 lettini e 1 ombrellone), mi sembrano un tantino eccessivi per quello che offrono e vabbè, se non ti conviene te ne vai da un'altra parte...
2. l'acqua della piscina sporchissima già dalla mattina, senza un minimo di cloro infatti era completamente salata, puena di grumi di capelli, salvaslip, cerotti e fogliame e ci può stare, è un acquapark stracolmo di gente e vabbè, se non ti conviene te ne vai al mare e l'acqua è comunque sporca...
3. l'acqua delle docce era letteralmente congelata, tanto da dover ricorrere ad una doccia flash di 10 secondi per non restarci sotto (tutto calcolato dalla direzione, altrimenti la gente sta mezz'ora stto l'acqua e devono pagarla).. ma vabbe' siamo in estate e ci può stare, cosa fa un po' d'acqua fredda col caldo di questa stagione.. insomma tutto un vabbè e ci può stare che non va affatto bene quando paghi cifre del genere..
4. non esiste che ho dovuto lavare mio figlio di 8 mesi con le bottigliette di acqua minerale (2€ ciascuna) peraltro congelate anche queste, perché mettere il neonato sotto quell'acqua ghiacciata delle docce sarebbe stata pura follia..
5. per ultimo e non di minor importanza, succede un episodio a metà mattinata.. in sostanza siamo stati "gentilmente" (mai vero) richiamati e invitati per dirla pulita da parte di un personaggio della sorveglianza, che tutto aveva tranne che saper avere a che fare con i clienti, a lasciare la postazione occupata da me, mia moglie e nostro figlio neonato, dicendo di toglierci perché stavamo occupando una postazione non nostra.. ha addirittura chiamato al cellulare credo il responsabile comunicandogli che non era nostra intenzione abbandonare la postazione...e certo..premetto che avevamo prenotato e pagato online 4 postazioni quindi 4 ombrelloni e 8 lettini essendo in 8 + il neonato e sottolineo che all'ingresso nessuno ci aveva detto che le postazioni fossero numerate e che avremmo dovuto ritirare il ticket col numero corrispondente al nostro ombrellone. Pertanto, al nostro arrivo, ignari di tutto ciò e senza essere avvisati dallo staff, mostriamo i nostri biglietti e ci fanno passare senza comunicarci nulla, quindi ci dirigiamo verso la zona terrazza, come scritto sul nostro biglietto, "appropriandoci" dei primi ombrelloni e sdraio libere, essendo stati tra i primi ad accedere al parco e non avendo trovato nessun'altra persona sdraiata.. Tutto questo per consigliarvi di comunicare all'ingresso che avete anche le postazioni, perché a detta del tizio della sorveglianza la colpa è stata la nostra che non l'abbiamo detto all'ingresso.. ma come?? In fase di prenotazione hanno voluto persino la data di nascita di ogni singolo ospite e poi è l'ospite che deve informare il personale di aver pagato anche le sdraio e l'ombrellone? Con tutti i sistemi informatici moderni, il sistema non è in grado di riconoscere se una persona ha pagato anche le postazioni oppure no? Io credo proprio di sì..Ironia della sorte a parte una postazione, le altre 3 erano quelle che avevamo già "occupato".. la prossima volta che sarò in Sicilia non tornerò minimamente Ps: sistemate il centro piscina che la guaina è tutta sollevata e ci si può fare...
