We were guests at La Pieve end of this April. And this choice of the place was the best we could imagine! The owner and the host lady Daniela was so much professional and welcoming! The venue itself is a restaurated historical buiding, perfectly renovated with many love and passion by Daniela and her family. Our apartment was perfect for a couple. Everything needed for cooking, several different coffee machines, cosy spaces inside and outside the home, great garden with olive trees and our favorite place - an open-air roof-top terrace for breakfasts with panoramic view of the surrounding hills. This place really took our heart away. This was a heaven of tranquility and peace that brought a special touch to our vacations. This was a quintessence of Tuscany, in our understanding. We even took one extra nigh to stay longer in this magic place. We really loved La Pieve, the ambiance and the host! Thank you for this place and hearted greetings for lady Daniela! We will definitely come back when next time in...

The property itself is huge - you could take some considerable strolls between the olive trees. There is even an ancient church you can get access to and visit. Just lovely all...
Read moreWe truly had a good time at La Pieve. If what you're after is to experience some quiet time in one of the best corners of Tuscany, then you'll love it too. Our intention was to spend a few days in Val d'Elsa with easy access to Siena. Daniela hosted us in one of her apartments. The house is beautifully surrounded by an olive tree field 🫒. It had been raining a lot during our stay, so everything was very green. We would swim at the pool in the early morning and explore the valley later in the day. If we happen to be in the area, we'd definitely spend more time...
