Hotel San Carlo — Hotel in Comunità montana Alta Valtellina

We spent only one night in the hotel, therefore some of my impressions may not correspond to the reality.||The hotel is very clean, the rooms have all the basic stuff and in the public areas there is this atmosphere of coziness. The choice for breakfast was really good and combined with the view from the cafeteria - it was perfect. ||The staff were very responsive and overall I can say we will definitely stop here again in the future. ||Now about the small things we thought could be better: ||- a piece of paper with the name and password of the wi-fi network could have been placed in the room||- a way to regulate the temperature in the room on our own could have been much better than calling the reception to fix it centrally||- the TV could have been newer||Also in case you are staying here but aim at visiting Bormio and ski, then double check the distances. We had a car and it wasn't a problem at all, but it seemed to take a while to reach Bormio. ||The Hotel has a local pizza place/ restaurant attached to it, which we considered very helpful for making it easier to dinner when tired after the trip ))) ||I would definitely recommend this...

I had an amazing time at the Hotel San Carlo in Livigno. The host's hospitality and service were top-notch and made me feel comfortable and welcomed throughout my entire stay. The restaurant at the hotel was a highlight for me, as the food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed dining there and would highly recommend it to others. The location of the hotel was also great and easily accessible. My room was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. Even though I really like Livigno, I would definitely recommend staying at the Hotel San Carlo because my stay there was fantastic. The experience was so enjoyable that I would prefer to stay there in the future instead of other accommodations in Livigno. Love it! I also have to mention that the hotel had an amazing spa area with a sauna and a whirlpool that had a breathtaking view of the mountains. I stayed here with my family for about two days. I found the property very well located with easy access to the main roads and about 30-45 minutes away from the Stelvio pass. The front desk was very communicative and responsive to queries I had and gave us clear instructions on the check-in and check out the front desk was also very friendly and gave us input on what we can visit in the neighbourhood and what trails we can take a very pleasant experience with the front desk.

As for the breakfast, the spread was very good. In my opinion. The service could be improved a little bit, but I don’t have anything to complain about.

The views from the property is stunning , the presence of an elevator and the in-house health club allows for a very relaxing stay after strenuous drive
