We arrived in Spera after a long but spectacular drive from Ferrara and we were so happy to be checking into this hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the rooms very comfortable with immaculate facilities and spacious shower rooms.||This is a really well run and well maintained hotel with some nice features, not least of which is the view from the front bar and indeed from the rooms.||||Spera is a small, picturesque village in the north-east of Italy. The villagers are very friendly and helpful and to be honest we could have stayed a week there. Shame it was only one night. Our tour had business in nearby Borgo and its a lovely town too. ||||My one disappointment was breakfast. Complimentary but a little sparse and lacking variety. Trust me, that wouldn’t be a “room with a view”, but a dinner with an...

In short: it was impossible to sleep before midnight. |Breakfast were OK. But that’s it. |No scrambled eggs as an example. Just the comment: “kitchen is closed”. |At the positive side, the people are very friendly, the dinner was really good!|Sorry but will not...
