Masseria Torre Di Nebbia — Hotel in Corato

This is our second trip to this wonderful Masseria near Castel Del Monte. We visited here for one night during a week long cycle trip around Puglia. |The building and surrounding grounds are stunning. The bedrooms are luxurious and very well equipped. |The evening meal was first class. Best octupus I have ever tasted as a starter, then on to home cooked fabulous pasta and very fresh fish for our secondi. |We were served very nice local wine from the region. |Our accommodation including breakfast was booked by our cycle company, so we only had dinner and drinks to pay for as extras, at a charge of €30 per person which is extremely good value for the quality of the meal and wine. |They filled our water bottles for our onward journey offering us more coffee before we left. |The only downside this year was that one of the owners Michelangelo wasn't there. Hopefully he'll be back next...

This is a quiet and quaint, yet beautifully modernized masseria, with only a few rooms to stay. The proprietor is very open and energetic, and the food is really quite​ good, especially the dinners! The ricotta we got for breakfast was delicious, but the breakfast was a bit heavy on sugar otherwise. The espresso was very good. The room was clean and modern, yet maintained the feeling of agritourismo. It's also a great venue for functions, but perhaps if you're looking for a quiet place to stay, check that you're not booked next to a big wedding. We enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this as a base if it fits...

Our title says it all. We stayed for one evening only which is our only regret. The room was comfortable quiet and luxurious. The hotel has only 5 rooms so it was really like staying in a private home. We were received and cared for by Michele who looked after our every need and saw that our food was prepared for us at any time we needed it. It was the start of our first visit to Puglia so we were off on a great footing. The Castel del Monte nearby is the main tourist site and well worth it. This venue is also constantly in use for...
