La Rocca di Mantignana — Hotel in Corciano

Spent 2 weeks here with our family - the apartment was lovely, big and airy (no mosquito nets on windows, which would be good, but it was cool enough to close windows on an evening), kitchen is limited, but perfectly adequate as there is a braai/barbecue outside in the garden area, which is where we cooked most evenings. Pool was great and well looked after. There are some criticisms of the bathrooms & furniture for being old - yes the furniture is not modern, but it is in keeping with the villa, and the bathroom, whilst also not 'modern' gets you clean and does the job! Also, the road to the villa is not paved, but its short, and not a problem to drive on at all. Its a great location to get to several different places, such as Perugia, Assisi, and Lake Tresimeno, all worth a visit. Would definitely stay here again, the staff were all lovely and...

Stayed with our family for 2 weeks - lovely pool, nice airy apartment, and within easy reach of Perugia, Assisi, and Castiglione del Lago, and Lake Tresimeno. The kitchen is quite limited, but we cooked on the barbecue most evenings, just preparing salads in the kitchen and making coffee! Mosquito netting over the windows would be good, but it was cool enough at night to shut the windows and spray everywhere! Bathrooms not modern, as others have commented, but adequately do the job (a screen on the shower would be a big improvement over the shower curtain, and a new shower head as the spray is a bit erratic). It's a lovely rural spot, easy walk to the village for coffee and ice cream on those lazy days! Would definitely stay again,...

Con gli amici abbiamo prenotato 7 appartamenti, colonizzando di fatto la struttura. Speriamo comunque di non aver arrecato troppo disturbo agli altri ospiti, per la massiccia presenza di bambini fra le nostre fila.||Tutti gli appartamenti sono spaziosi, ben rifiniti, puliti e forniti di tutto quanto necessario per un piacevole soggiorno.||La struttura anche esternamente si presenza molto bene: i nostri appartamenti si trovavavano nel corpo principale, restaurato utilizzando con gusto pietra e legno. Le parti comuni sono in ordine e perfette per condividere i momenti di svago. Di queste ricordo una sala comune dotata di camino, l'incantevole piscina, sempre pulita, il prato coi giochi e il campo da tennis, forse l'unica parte che meriterebbe una minima manutenzione alla rete del campo da gioco, se proprio devo trovare un difetto per rendere credibile questa recensione.||Il complesso si trova in una zona tranquilla, non facilissima da raggiungere (Google Maps porta fuori strada, forse qualche cartello in più potrebbe aiutare i nuovi visitatori), ma comunque comodissima ai negozi del paese (farmacia, supermercato, forno che fa anche ottime pizze d'asporto, macelleria e altri negozi) e abbastanza centrale rispetto alle diverse attrattive che la zona offre.||Voglio spendere infine una parola per i proprietari con cui abbiamo avuto a che fare (Lamberto e Patrizia), veloci nell'attivarsi di fronte a un piccolo problema e a risolverlo e nel caso di Lamberto, una persona molto piacevole con cui discorrere.||Se non ci piacesse cambiare meta ogni anno, sarebbe sicuramente il posto su cui ripuntare per una...
