Lovely boutique hotel with very clean spaces. All rooms are perfectly maintained, and the property is cute, clean and adorable. The owners work very hard to keep everything just perfect. They are very accommodating, and so very kind. It's just a couple kilometers from the city center, and quiet other than the passing trains. The passing trains are on a smooth portion of track, and it's not much of a bother. Earplugs are provided in each room, and there are a couple rooms on the North Side if you're a very sensitive sleeper. Breakfast offered is quite a good value, and will surely please you. The coffee is amazing, the bar is fully stocked for your delight, and you'll enjoy the time here. There is not one speck of dust to be found, and the passion of the owners is very evident. They will go out of their way to be sure you have an enjoyable stay, and you'll likely want to leave a gift to thank them for their lovely...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for one night while cycling through Italy. We arrived in the rain with 5 wet bikes, and the staff helped us get our bikes into a back room, to keep our bikes safe. We had just made the reservation that morning. The staff spoke very good English.||||The location is not ideal -- it's up a big hill, and there is a train right across the street. That did not bother us at all (I love the sound of trains) -- but they do put earplugs in the room if you need them.||||The breakfast was fine -- croissants, yogurt, breads and cereals. The coffee was strong. ;-) There was a nice restaurant next store. (It doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but the folks there were very friendly, the food was good, and they had some sort of karaoke / professional singer thing going on.)||||Overall, our criteria are: cleanliness and friendliness, and this hotel scored a 5 out of 5 on...
Read moreEverything about this family-runned hotel is spectacular. Starting off with its rooms, it is great quality and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is equipped with a delicious breakfast buffet.
Onto the service, amazing; couldn't ask for more! Very friendly, approachable, and incredibly nice. It felt like we were also part of the family. This quality definitely gave us a sense of community that every hotel should have. Other hotels should definitely take notes!
Lastly, the location. Even though it's a bit far from the main centre of Desenzano, a local taxi can take you up and down the hotel for a cheap price. It's also near multiple restaurants and supermarkets, which is convenient as always.
Overall, Hotel la Passeggiata is a hotel I strongly recommend, and I would definitely return to this one if I ever travel back...
