This gasthof is in a perfect location. Up in the mountains facing a small and beautiful church, looking east across the valley to the mountains and massif on the other side. Wow! Beautiful location for strolling, hiking, breathing in the fresh mountain air. We were there the end of the first week of November, just as the snow was starting. There was no snow on the roads, but plenty on top of the mountains. What a magnificent site! ||||We opted for the half pension: breakfast and dinner. The breakfast included juice, coffee, tea, breads and rolls, meats, fruit, and eggs of our choice. Dinner was a fixed menu each night and we loved the surprise of not knowing what delicious food would be served that evening. We were never disappointed. There was considerably more food that we normally eat, and it was quite wonderful Austrian food. Dumplings, fresh salad, schnitzel, wurst and kraut. You name it, it was good.||||Our room was spotless, with a nice bathroom and a kitchenette, had we wanted to prepare anything on our own. Views from two balconies were terrific! ||||The family running this gasthof is very friendly and will make you feel at home. It is really a...

Another example is that on Sundays, the bus from the hotel to the train station runs later than the other days and the owners knew I planned to go skiing that day, so they offered to personally take me to the bus station in town and that’s exactly what they did. The hotel itself is clean, an amazing location, delicious food, and exceptional...
