Our recent stay at Kessler's Mountain Lodge was absolutely phenomenal, and I am excited to share my enthusiasm about this wonderful place. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and provided with a thorough explanation of the accommodations and the surroundings. It was immediately evident that hospitality is highly valued here.

The lodgings themselves were nothing short of luxurious. Our apartment was tastefully decorated, exuding a sense of comfort and elegance. The amenities were top-notch, leaving nothing to be desired. The view from our window, amidst the apple orchards, was truly breathtaking, feeling like a picturesque piece of paradise.

What made our experience even more special was the incredible hospitality of the hosts. They were always at our disposal, ready to answer our questions and offer suggestions to make our stay even more enjoyable. Their personal attention made us feel right at home.

However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the fact that we could bring our two beloved dogs. It's rare to find accommodations that are not only pet-friendly but also as considerate as Kessler's Mountain Lodge. Not only were our furry companions welcomed in the apartments, but a special bed and feeding bowls were provided, all arranged by the lodge. This gesture not only demonstrated Kessler's Mountain Lodge's hospitality but also their understanding of the bond between pets and their owners.

Die Chalets sind traumhaft schön, die Lage generell inmitten der Apfelplantage ist auch einmalig. Der Frühstückskorb ist auch schön gemacht, es ist definitiv ausreichend für 2. Trotz vergessener Vorbestellung haben wir am Abreisetag auch trotzdem einen bekommen, das fand ich auch sehr aufmerksam. So 100% zufrieden bin ich nur nicht, nachdem ich den Aufenthalt kurz sacken lassen habe. Das Chalet war wie gesagt traumhaft und sehr gemütlich. Die Lage der einzelnen Chalets finde ich allerdings sehr ungünstig. Unser Romantik Chalet ist direkt an der Kinderspielwiese und man kann den Nachbarn im Hottub quasi auch beobachten (unfreiwillig), weil beide Häuser nebeneinander stehen und es keine Trennwand o.Ä. Gibt. Ja es sind schon Bäume gepflanzt, aber es sollte auch jetzt für die Gäste schon etwas Privatsphäre geben. Privatsphäre generell ist aber bei keinen der Chalets gegeben. Mit Mama als Begleitung war das kein Problem, als Liebespaar kann ich es mir noch nicht so gut vorstellen. Auch begannen die Umbauarbeiten auch samstags direkt um 7:15 (direkt am Schlafzimmer Fenster), ich finde vor allem so früh ist das nicht sehr gastfreundlich. Und generell kann ich mich den anderen Gästen leider nicht ganz anschließen, wir wurden von den Gastgebern nicht persönlich begrüßt und fühlten uns generell bei unserem Besuch eher alleine gelassen. Was natürlich auch gut sein kann, aber wenn alle auf einer Anlage arbeiten und herumlaufen, kann man denke ich schon etwas Herzlichkeit versprühen, indem man zumindest mal nett grüßt oder kurz redet. Ich fühlte mich sehr anonym und nicht gesehen dort. Auch bei Abreise wurde ich vom Lehrling bedient, während die Chefin dabei stand. Auch wenn man beschäftigt ist, hätte man kurz reden können, ob alles zur Zufriedenheit war und einfach etwas Interesse zeigen. Das war garnicht der Fall. Es gab nichtmal eine Verabschiedung oder Danke. Prinzipiell hat es uns sehr gut gefallen, nur die zuletzt angesprochene Situationen hat einen sehr faden Beigeschmack bei mir hinterlassen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt finde ich in zunehmender Saison einfach nicht mehr, da ist es für Chalet mit Frühstück einfach zu teuer, unser Preis Anfang April war noch gut. Vielleicht kommen wir noch ein mal wieder und mein Eindruck ist dann ein anderer. Die junge Frau beim Check-In war sehr nett muss ich anmerken und auch alle Reinigungsdamen sehr freundlich. Und wie gesagt, die Unterkünfte sind einmalig schön gestaltet, deswegen vergebe ich auch nicht weniger als 4 Sterne. Wahrnehmung ist immer subjektiv und deshalb möchte ich auch fair bleiben, ein anderer hätte es vielleicht nicht so empfunden wie ich und auch Privatsphäre ist nicht jedem...
