If you’re looking for heaven on earth, look no further. We had a fabulous stay, everything was simply perfect.

It was a surprise trip I had arranged for a special occasion for my partner. So, I needed to get everything absolutely right.

The excellent service began before my arrival at the hotel. The reception staff (Lara, Verena, Katharina) and the experience guide (Alexander) answered all my questions and helped me with the arrangements for the special occasion.

Hotel itself is magnificent, with stunning views of the majestic landscape. Facilities are world-class. There is a sexy indoor-outdoor connected heated infinity pool as well as steam bath, sauna and gym. We also received the Rocky Relax signature massage treatment which utilized smoke infusions and stones, a unique local South Tyrollean treatment which was an absolute delight, leaving us feeling pampered and tranquil. Thanks to Melanie and the younger masseuse (can’t remember her name!).

We stayed in the San Ray Suite with private jacuzzi, sauna, terrace, garden and of course, sublime views. There is literally nothing sweeter than waking up and spending the day in this suite, and the hotel facilities.

For breakfast, they have a good buffet selection but also some items you could order off the menu. Very decent quality. Coffee is good. Lunch is not included in the price but you could still order food at the bar during the day. For dinner, they provide a multi-course upscale gourmet dining experience, with the menu changing everyday. Each bite was an explosion of paradise in my mouth, and so it was very exciting to look forward to dinner each night, not knowing what you’re going to get. I would like to give a shout out to the restaurant team who took care of us, especially Nadine, who was primarily in charge of our table. But also to others like Raffael, Simon, Hannes and many others which I didn’t catch their names! We were even served by two of the three brothers who own the hotel. After dinner, we chilled at the bar where there is a cozy and elegant fireplace, and some little nooks where you could play board games or billiards. On some days they have live music too.

In terms of things to do during the day, the hotel provides several guided activities during the week, already included in the hotel price, such as hikes, yoga, stretching, Pilates etc. We did a panoramic snow hike led by Alexander. We were driven about 15 mins to a starting point at about 2000m elevation (compared to the hotel at 850m). During a stop at a view point, Alexander provided us a nice charcuterie board as well as warm tea. It was a great experience with majestic views of the dolomites (Aferer Geisler up close and Zillertal Alps in the distance, I think).

Overall, we had a magical experience. We really felt like we had a slice of heaven. Hotel is in a stunning location with great facilities. Staff were extremely warm and service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. The hotel has a very nice vibe and puts you in a very positive spirit. We felt very taken care of and will...

Santre Dolomythic: A Winter Wonderland for First-Time Skiers

Imagine this: a blanket of pristine snow, majestic peaks dusted with white, and the crisp mountain air invigorating your senses. This wasn't a dream, but our reality at Santre Dolomythic Home, a luxurious haven that transformed our first ski trip into an unforgettable winter wonderland experience.

Fresh Powder & First Steps:

As South Africans, snow was a novelty, and the Dolomites, a dream destination. Santre Dolomythic became the perfect launching pad for our ski adventure. The hotel's ski-in/ski-out access made learning a breeze. Friendly instructors patiently guided us on the gentle slopes, and the sense of accomplishment after each successful turn was exhilarating.

Aching Muscles & Apres-Ski Bliss:

After a day carving our way down the slopes, our tired bodies craved pampering. The hotel's spa was a haven of relaxation. Soothing Finnish saunas, with their dry heat and invigorating aroma, chased away any lingering chills. Soaking in the panoramic views from the outdoor jacuzzi, under a star-studded sky, was pure bliss.

Fine Dining & Fond Memories:

Evenings were spent indulging in the hotel's culinary delights. The restaurant, with its warm ambiance and attentive service, became a nightly ritual. We feasted on delicious local specialties, paired with regional wines, all while enjoying breathtaking mountain vistas from our table. Each meal was a celebration of the day's adventures and a chance to create lasting memories.

Overall:

Santre Dolomythic was more than just a hotel; it was the heart of our winter wonderland experience. The combination of luxurious accommodations, breathtaking scenery, and access to world-class skiing made our first foray into the world of winter sports truly unforgettable.

Things to Consider:

If you're an experienced skier seeking the most challenging slopes, Santre Dolomythic's surrounding area might not offer the same level of difficulty as other resorts. The hotel caters to a variety of guests, so the atmosphere might not be as lively as some après-ski hotspots.

Despite these minor considerations, Santre Dolomythic remains an excellent choice for first-time skiers seeking a luxurious and unforgettable winter escape in...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Santre Dolomythic Home, and I must say it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. This has undoubtedly been one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the family that runs the hotel, and their personal touch truly gave the place a special spirit. The hospitality and genuine care that the family and staff showed were truly heartwarming and made my stay even more memorable.

The location of the hotel is breathtaking. Nestled amidst the stunning Dolomite mountains, the views from the hotel were nothing short of mesmerizing. The serene surroundings provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing me to fully unwind and relax. What's more, the hotel's strategic location high above Brixen meant that I was close to some of the most amazing spots in the Dolomites, making my explorations convenient and unforgettable.

Let's talk about the food – an absolute culinary delight! The hotel's restaurant offered a delectable array of dishes that showcased the region's flavors and ingredients. Every meal was a delightful journey for the taste buds, and I found myself eagerly anticipating each dining experience.

The spa at Hotel Santre Dolomythic Home was a true oasis of relaxation. The highlight for me was the spa's pond – a tranquil spot where I could unwind while surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. The spa treatments were top-notch and left me feeling rejuvenated and pampered.

In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Santre Dolomythic Home was a truly unforgettable experience. The warmth of the family and staff, the breathtaking location, the exquisite food, and the rejuvenating spa made this stay stand out as one of the best I've ever had. If you're looking for a place that offers not just accommodation but a complete soul-soothing experience, then this hotel should be your top choice. I can't wait to return to this haven of luxury and...

We stayed here on our honeymoon for 3 nights. Excellent hotel with relaxing amenities, delicious food and a very warm and accommodating staff. Pick up and drop off - We arrived at the train station and missed our bus to the hotel. Upon calling the hotel, they promptly sent us a car to pick us up. They also offer shuttle service to the Plose gondola station which is very convenient if you don’t have a car. Room - We were initially given a room on the first floor with an obstructed view and limited privacy, specially at night. We requested for a change and were promptly offered another room on the second floor which was more to our liking. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Note : there is an extended grassy floor ahead of the balcony which means you don’t have a clear view of the valley. Pool and Sauna - The hotel pool and saunas are a class apart. The heated infinity pool is a highlight. There is an adult only section with no swimsuits and several saunas to try out. Very tastefully done and invokes a sense of calm. Dining - The restaurant is beautiful and the spread is fantastic. We were not pleased with the fixed seating as our assigned seat was in the back with limited view of the mountains. This was a shame as we flew from very far and would have loved to enjoy the view, atleast for one meal. We requested for it a few times and towards the end of our stay, managed to change our table to another part of the restaurant (still not near the window). It was nice of the staff to make an effort to accommodate our request. Hikes and activities - The hotel has various activities on a daily basis. We loved our hike to a scenic point in the mountains. The guides were friendly and had arranged for herbal tea and schnapps to be enjoyed at the midpoint which was a fun surprise. There are also plenty of activities (ski lessons, paragliding etc) that one can inquire about. Overall, a brilliant stay at a hotel with much to offer. Will definitely be back!

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted very warmly and parked the car in the garage. For dinner, a table with our names was waiting for us - this is very nice because you understand that they were waiting for you. The cuisine is wonderful - everything is exquisite and delicious. After dinner, we heard music and went to the bar. There was a man with a very pleasant voice singing and playing. There were couples in love around, a fireplace was burning and the atmosphere was warm and magical. In the morning we tried breakfast. A good choice for all tastes. There is even sturgeon caviar for gourmets. We also visited the pool. We had a very good swim. There is a sauna. Wonderful recreation areas near the pool. There are lemonades everywhere to quench your thirst. So 1. Perfect cleanliness. The hotel is super new. Interesting locations, panoramic view, new design. 2. A very young team works. Thank you to the owner that gives young people a chance to have a job! Everyone is very polite. Everyone who works there, I will say again - thanks to your work, your smiles, you create an atmosphere of rest and relaxation for us. Thank you for this! 3. Special thanks for the fabulous sweet table with dozens of sweets. We were stunned by the number of cakes. 4. When leaving, we were given panettone for the road - a small gift, but looking at it, I keep the memory of a great vacation. We will definitely come back to you and will be happy to recommend you to others. Thank you.
