Hotel degli Ulivi — Hotel in Ferrandina

We stayed at the Hotel Degli Ulivi for a few nights in August. We were in town with family to celebrate San Rocco. We arrived late afternoon after driving 10 hours from Treviso, we quickly went to our rooms to freshen up and decided to stay there for dinner. ||Our meal was good, wine list was OK. ||We stayed up to walk around the hotel (small hotel so not much walking to do). The hotel literally shuts down at 11pm, if you go out they tell you to use the side door when you arrive as the main door is locked. This may bother some people but we were fine with it.||Breakfast is your standard Continental spread, there is something for everyone. We never stayed for lunch so I cant comment on that. ||||You have to understand that you are in a very small town, it is the only hotel in the area, it is not the Ritz BUT it is a quaint place to stay. ||You will se the owner in the front lobby on most days, greeting guests and making sure everything is running smoothly.||I enjoyed my stay, I will return and look forward to staying a few days and...

The hotel has nice rooms. Dinner is average, not up to the Puglia standards.||||However, we felt we were treated unfairly by the people running this hotel. I would recommend against visiting this hotel.||||We enquired three times about the use of the wellness.||Once at the reception desk. A 2nd time the next day at the reception desk and a third time on in the Wellness itself. ||Never were we informed that there was a cost of 50 euros for the use of the wellness, we weren't shown a pricelist, nor were we offered a receipt to sign.||It was only when we checked out that all of the sudden, 50 euros were added to our bill.||||As if by magic, the employees who could speak English the day before, only spoke Italian. We ended up paying an unfair bill. I would recommend other visitors to look elsewhere, to the many friendly and correct hosts...

L'hotel è presenta un esterno meraviglioso, assolutamente bello, se dovessi organizzare un evento sicuramente lo sceglierei. Entrando non ho avuto dalla reception un'accoglienza altrettanto meravigliosa... Nessuno che ci ha accompagnato alla camera, una paletta schiaccia mosche su una console vicino le scale d'ingresso per le camere, quindi in piena vista, muri sporchi e lesioni nei corridoi, insomma non un bel vedere Non è certo un bel biglietto da visita Sorvoliamo... Mi danno la camera 222 al 3 piano Entrando si sente cattivo odore di muffa pareti sporche con lesioni importanti e intonaco che si spolverizza solo al passaggio per non parlare delle lenzuola e copri guanciale tutte aggrinzite tanto che sembravano già usate. Vado in reception per lamentare le condizioni pietose della camera si scusano e mi cambiano la camera con una al primo piano vicino alla SPA, la 135 condizioni un po' più decenti stesso odore di muffa e lesioni sui muri na almeno i muri non sporchi e lenzuola un pò più decenti. Ristorante si è mangiato bene, ma il servizio lascia molto a desiderare, piatti sbeccati e taglienti, tavola apparecchiata a metà eravamo in due quindi un posto senza posateria, dopo aver preso la comanda, ci servono i piatti ma non le posate, ovviamente abbiamo dovuto chiederle. Colazione, non abbiamo trovato praticamente nulla alle 9 era finito tutto e la cameriera incolpava la clientela che si era portata in camera i croissant... Ma in verità ne sono usciti dalla cucina pochi pezzi così come tante altre cose succhi acqua per tea latte bianco pane uova strapazzate prosciutto formaggio Praticamente era rimasto un pezzo di crostata con confettura, una ciambella alla vaniglia e delle uova sode Passiamo alla SPA, altra nota dolente in quanto la reception non aveva comunicato la nostra prenotazione... (Spa piena di clienti) Infatti il personale pur di risolvere la situazione ci hanno fatto entrare per usufruire della SPA ma nel bel mezzo del percorso SPA ci hanno interrotto per farci il massaggio di coppia per poi farci riprendere il percorso SPA.... Lascio immaginare il disagio di rindossare indumenti (costumi) bagnati e freddi. Si sa la spa ed il messaggio è una coccola di puro relax, non di stress tra interruzioni ed il pericolo di non poter usufruire di un servizio già pagato... Così come altri hanno già indicato... Peccato Peccato Peccato perché la struttura merita ma è mal gestita sicuramente hanno investito molto per i ricevimenti fatti all'esterno. Ma linterno è l'esatto opposto Meraviglia e fatiscenza nella stessa...
