Like all other reviews, I have to say the road to get there is challenging and difficult (even with a gps!). I took us 5 hours from Modena because we got stuck in traffic in Bologna, so I would highly recommend for anyone to stick to the A1 highway to avoid heavy traffic. ||||We arrived at night around 8pm because of this delay and long road, but after that the place was totally worth it! We had 2 apartments for 2 families and the place was beautiful and extremely cosy! (I'm still in love with the fridge style of one of apartments).||||The breakfast was excellent too, consisting mostly of home made sweets, compliments to the amazing Ada, which is an excellent cook and a super friendly person. She gave us all the recommendations for places to visit and we did enjoy all the places she mentioned.||||During our 3 days stay we visited Lago di Bilancino (and the local market), Barberino di mugello (and the designer outleet - an area outdoors with lots of famous branded shops such as Ralp Lauren and Timberlands), Siena (we missed the Chianti wine tasting which was in the morning), Partolino and Firenze (do not go there by car, park in a city outside such as San Bartolo and catch the bus)||We also visited Modena and Bologna before going to Gli Orzali from Lago Di Garda and Parma before going back to the airport.||We also managed to see 2 dears, 1 during a morning walk around the place and another at night when going back to the hotel.||||Wish we could stayed more at this place. Would recommend to anyone who loves nature and wants to spend some quiet...

The decor is perfect if you want an authentic feel from the 70’s-80’s with all of today’s modern conveniences like tv and Wi-Fi and superbly clean. Sabrina was another highlight of this property, she isn’t only helpful and insightful, she makes sure that you’re not missing anything during your stay. We drove to the hilltop villas/villages down south from that location and although it’s a little ways, I wouldn’t trade it for any another stay, especially with Sabrina’s added info as to what not to miss out on seeing on your daily adventures.
Sitting in the dinette in the apartment unit at the end of each day and looking west toward the hills during sunset is like looking at a beautiful screen saver but it’s real with gorgeous wildlife (deer, rabbits, colorful birds and so forth). Her breakfast every morning was a simple yet delectable assortment of items including espressos/cappuccinos and they are one of the things I miss most from our daily activities. You also have a straight shot to Bologna and Mugello from this location which are also fantastic and a great small town five minutes away called Firenzuola. You won’t regret the vistas from this amazing property, I’ll...
