ALBERGO DIFFUSO DOLOMITI — Hotel in Forni di Sotto

Albergho Diffuso Dolomiti offers many variatons of accommodation in Forni di Sotto and close surroundings. We have been accommodated in Ciase di Carone in 3rd floor apartment. This apartment is located in the village, close to the "center". Parking is possible in front of the house. House itself has been recently restored with respect to natural materials and typical regional architecture. The apartment can be reached by outdoor and indoor stairs, it is fully equipped with all things one should need. Decor is very nice, typical mountain with extensive use of wood. Cleanness of all parts of apartment was superb. There is a long but a bit narrow balcony which offers view on the village and mountains. Kitchen connected with living room offers all kinds of dishes (plates, glasses, pots, bialetti kettle, knives etc.), magnificent 5 burner gas hob, big fridge, microwave owen, and even a dishwasher. There is alops big dining table for 6 persons. Living part of the room includes flat screen TV, small table and 2 couches. Bathroom consists of bah tub, toilette and washing machine. Main bedroom has a double bed, in the attic there is 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds plus a couch which can be found in space in fornt of 2nd bedroom.||||Thing which we didn like and might be improved: 1.) Wifi connection was poor, in both signal strenght and connection speed. 2.) Hairdryer was barely usable. Hasnt sufficient power to dry...

It was my second time in Albergo Diffuso and I just can't have any complaints. ||Here are some highlights of the hotel and Staali dal Frasin house:||- The location: Small mountain village Forni di Sotto is located in the valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. The is always a wonderful view regardless of the building you are staying at. Location is also very quiet (for somebody it might be too quiet), there are just a few restaurants and bars.||- Staff: Is always very friendly, kind and easy-going.||- Architecture and style: The houses and rooms are very carefully reconstructed by using typical materials such as wood and stone. The interior style is truly authentic and you feel like you are in a mountain chalet from the movies. It is really exceptional and it always makes me fell really good.||- Equipment: The house was equipped with everything needed for cooking, cleaning, washing etc.||- Tidiness: All rooms, toilets and premises were very clean.||||All in all, I recommend this special type of hotel to everyone who likes mountains and its typical architecture. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Albergo Diffuso Dolomiti in Forni di Sopro, Italy and I cannot recommend it enough. The highlight of our stay was our wonderful host, Mara, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable.

Not only was the property immaculate, but the owner of the property and the locals in the region were incredibly kind and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The cleanliness of the apartment we stayed in was impeccable and we were blown away by the attention to detail and care put into our accommodations.
