Hotel Valbella — Hotel in Gallio

We spent 9 nights here in July as our accomodation whilst attending the Italian 5 day orienteering event . This hotel was on the recommended list and we were the only orienteers who spent the whole event staying here . ||How lucky were we, A quiet room on the third floor with a fabulous shower , spotlessly and thorughly cleaned every day ||Fabulous food - Aldo - what a charmer- spent ages going through each dish with us to make sure we were happy with what was ordered and really trying hard to adcocmodate me - a vegetarian - with lovely cheeses and the most exquisite fresh vegetables ||The wine was lovely and very reasonably priced as were the bar prices ||The only challenge was the Wifi was very patch in our room but it did mean we spent more time using it in the bar and engaing with the locals ||Aldo and his team went out of their way to accomodate us and make our trip memorable even getting up to provide with a 5 AM breakfast when we had to get the 530 bus to Venice.||With advice re museums . the monument in Asiago , very moving , swimming and local history we couldnt have wished for better care . The place seemed very popular with the locals who all seemed to treated with equal respect and courtesy ||We were sent on a way with a bottle of wine from Aldo - we have saved it to toast his health on Christmas day this year - and a earnest hope we can a) return and b) improve our Italian to make life easier for us all !!! Thank you for making our trip...

Bella la posizione, ma purtroppo durante il pernottamento si sentiva un bimbo della camera cucina, lo sciacquone del wc della stanza vicina, gli sbadigli nella stanza vicina. Certo non è totalmente colpa del gestore, ma potrebbe fare la sua parte insonorizzando meglio le camere. Poi per carità le camere sono pulitissime e ordinate. Nella doccia purtroppo era rotto il fermo di regolazione del soffione dell'acqua. La colazione mi ha deluso in quanto la stessa e unica tipologia di brioche cambiava solo il riempimento. Non c'era per niente frutta di stagione. Durante la consumazione della colazione i vassoi erano vuoti dagli affettati, sono rimasti così per diverso tempo prima di essere riforniti nuovamente. Per finire, l'attesa di oltre 30 min per poter fare il check-out in quanto il proprietario era impegnato in altro. E se uno aveva tempi calcolati e stretti per altri appuntamenti? Avrebbe fatto tardissimo. Mi dispiace perché secondo me potenzialmente è ben strutturato ma ci sono questi piccoli...

Siamo stati per la prima settimana del 2024. L'albergo davvero molto carino e curato nei dettagli. Direi appena ristrutturato perchè era davvero tutto bello e ordinato. Aldo il principale è una persona dalle poche parole ma sempre gentile e disponibile ad ogni esigenza della cliebtela. Il personale di servizio è stato molto gentile, cordiale e sorridente! Ci ha fatto sentire davvero ben accolti. La campera era in una mansarda a legno ed era davvero grande e ben tenuta. La cena poi era il momento atteso della giornata. Un menù sempre ricco e differenziato ogni sera con piatti davvero notevli per qualità. Il tutto poi in una cittadina molto carina che è Gallio e a soli 7 minuti dalle piste da scii "Le Melette" e 10 minuti dal centro fondo "Campo Mulo" dove ci sono diverse piste per Bob e Slitte, un divertimento puro per i bambini! Insomma Ci siamo trovati davvero bene!...
