Cieloverde Camping Village Marina di Grosseto (GR) — Hotel in Grosseto

It's a really nice, large and spacious, well organised and very clean & tidy site.

As you enter the site from the main road there are 3 lanes, quite long and each for about 10 cars, which enables you to wait off of the main road at reception without the worry or frustration of blocking the road.

Once you've checked in you're shown to your pitch, or at least the area where you can chose your pitch. No hardship at all by being shown to your pitch at all, it's actually quite a nice touch.

The pitch that we had was 120 m². So a really good sized pitch. We had electricity but no water, so we had to stop at a nearby tap to fill up. The chemical toilet was in the nearby washblock, so nice & close. The gray waste for the motorhome was actually out of the main site, across the road, in a barrier controlled area that is accessed by a QR code on a printed sheet of paper. Well the least said about this the better, I'd have had more success wiping my backside with the piece of paper rather than trying to use it to activate the barriers. Total waste of 45 minutes of our time. The area was however clean and tidy and mess free and was the only negative of our stay.

The one thing that I'd really like to stress with the site is not only it's site but it's space, the organisation and what it truly has to offer. It's got everything that you need for a really comfortable & relaxing holiday, whether you want to stay for a week or two. The washblocks are kept very clean, I saw a lady cleaning ours every day for about 90 minutes, she was being really thorough.

The central boulevard area as you enter the site is immaculate, something that is echoed right around the site.

Ok it's quite a long walk down to the beach but with two 'trains' running at regular intervals there really is no need to walk if you don't want to. Plus if you do ne3d refreshments when you get there there's a cafe bar waiting for you, that was alright too.

There's plenty to keep every member of the family entertained including a BMX bike area, a cross-fit training area, archery plus alot more.

Going back a few years this would have been the ideal site for our family, with two adults & 3 children, sadly all grown up now but it doesn't mean that we still can't enjoy a site like this....

The campsite itself is very pleasant,the trees provide plenty of shade for most of the day and it's a lot of fun cycling around. We found it quite well organised, clean and with large camping spaces.||||However, negative points include: Loud live concerts that go on past midnight that can be heard over quite a large area.||The bathrooms, which are mostly turkish-style toilets don't have toilet paper or soap and the number of showers isn't sufficient and you cannot regulate the temperature so it is quite hot, especially for summer. ||The beach is well equipped and organised but the water isn't so clean (obviously not the camping's fault)||The high-end restaurant Il Tosco, although serving reasonable food was overpriced and we weren't treatef very honestly.||The provided electricity is limited to 3amp (600watts) which means you basically can't use an electric cooker.||Although this isn't the camping's fault, loud fighter jets reguatly pass overhead throughout the day.||||A nice thing is that there are many ways you can stay here such as galmping and a few different types of bungalows. We appreciated the effort they put in to try and be ecological with recyclig, electric viechles for hire, a bat garden and a water machine.||A very positive point is that you can hire bikes and it is a very safe and flat place to ride around and it's an ideal form of transport in...

I give it only 2 stars because the bungalow houses where very pretty and great! But the rest was not so great, some of the staff were arrogant angry and rude, right at the beginning when we first get here, so i didn’t feel Welkom whatsoever, but in general they are also rude. You have to pay for every single little thing, even the shower on the beach, you have to pay every day for the pool per person, the staff there at the bar were actually very very friendly, we definitely made some friends there. I don’t mind pay for everything, but I at least expect luxury because they claim to be 4 stars, none of the restaurants were good on the camping, very expensive for very bad food. This camping have every potential to be great, but they really need to get their priorities straight and not only think about money for everything cause that is what it makes me feel like that they only cared for money and not the people in general, we are clients so we suppose to be treated simply nice, that is not much to ask. Sorry but I was very excited in the beginning but that was immediately gone when I arrived, I find it a shame also because I paid a lot, and people work hard to go on vacation and be treated nice is at least what...
