Le Corti — Hotel in Grosseto

I was looking for overnight stay near Grosseto and Maremma regional park. It wasn't easy to find the place, I had to use GPS coordinates, as address didn't gave the right direction.||I was a surprise to find such a large apartment hotel basically in cul de sac of small village. Unfortunately Roselle is not the picturesque old Italian village, so the surroundings are not the best-looking. ||Hotel itself was fully equipped - large restaurant, relatively big apartments. In our apartment were bedroom, livingroom with extra bed, small balcony, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower.||Everything was clean and breakfast was delicious, but compared to any other hotel we were staying in Italy, the place lacked it's charm. ||Definitely value for money, but not a place for me - I would prefer traditional Italian style place to stay. Place could suit well for larger families or groups of people who spend most of the day in surrounding cities or at Maremma...

In fact, Le Corti has many advantages: ||very spacious rooms, perfect for self-catering, ||quiet location and generally clean. ||No problems with insects or something of the kind.||||Breakfast was fair, probably even better than one would expect in Italy for the price. ||||By and large, the only only two snags about it are: ||1) the place is definitely NOT among the most beautiful & picturesque in Tuscany, our view from the balcony onto the surrounding was anything but inspiring...||2) the kitchen could have been furnished better (for instance, a bigger pan for roasting was missing).||||Anyway, many thanx go to the receptionist, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful!||||We truly enjoyed and will never forget watching turtles rambling in the hotel garden as well as the white omnipresent...

Ci tengo a precisare che non sono stato nella struttura, però credo che chi risponde al telefono per dare delle info debba essere decisamente più educata, facendo un mestiere piuttosto importante come vendere un servizio o una struttura , non si debba permettere di rivolgersi alle richieste di come sono strutturati e che servizio offre la struttura … Una signora che ha risposto al telefono alla mia richiesta di come sono strutturate le camere , non riuscivo neppure a chiedere che mi sentivo dire con arroganza e insistenza “ CHE COSA VUOLE SAPERE ,LEI COSA VUOLE ??” Quando riesco a farmi capire la stessa mi descrive la struttura … con appartamenti con camera, soggiorno, con cucina e terrazzìni .. e alla mia affermazione che per noi è anche troppo , visto che saremmo stati tre coppie di passaggio e avremmo solo bisogno di tre camere con bagno e collazione…. Mi si risponde sempre con toni piuttosto da persona che non ama il proprio lavoro e che non credo sappia come è l’accoglienza , la gentilezza oltre l’educazione alberghiera , che in molti alberghi e /o strutture ho visitato sia per lavori che per tempo Libero… Il mio deve essere preso come uno sfogo e monito per le perone che vorranno chiedere info telefonicamente… e consiglio alla signora che mi ha risposto al telefono di cambiare i toni oppure di farsi da parte e dare spazio a chi il suo mestiere è in grado di farlo… P.s. inoltre visto che ho letto diverse recensioni ( sarebbe stato meglio leggerle prima) che la signora in questione risponde alle recensioni girando le lamentele o recensioni negative in suo favore come se le persone si inventino le cose …. Se diverse persone si lamentano per l’arroganza e come sono trattate dalla signora ( non posso dire nulla sulla struttura , non avevano di neppure messo piede e mai c’è lo metterò … anzi sconsiglierò di farlo ) di farsi due domande … la prima e che forse deve moderare i termini , la seconda che a forza di recensioni più negative si rischia che le persone leggendo non chiedono neppure più e passano ad altre strutture sicuramente più gentili...
