B&B La Dolce Casetta — Hotel in Grottaferrata

My family and I stayed here for five days and we could not like it more. We were attending family wedding in nearby Villa Grazioli and this proved to be an ideal choice for us. The small house looks very well kept, professionally cleaned and comfortable. It forms part of a bigger estate, meaning you have direct access to beatiful gardens and playgrounds. Alessandro is a great host, always there when you need him and with full understanding for guests' needs. Parking space is also provided but you better be a good driver, especially if you drive a big car. Surrounding small towns of Grottaferrata and Frascati are very charming, while Rome is short train/ car ride away (assuming there is no traffic jam, it takes up to one hour to drive into centrally located garage in Rome with very affordable parking prices, e.g. Parcheggio Trastevere). As for the food supplies, the host will arrange for some packaged food, but there is also centrally located Carrefour in Frascati. Last but not the least, this is one of those places where you really feel at home. I really recommend it for families with small kids as parents can enjoy in the very safe and clean environment. A quaint 2 bedroom cottage on a beautiful large property.||The 2nd room is a little small, suitable only for a couple or single adult. The place is neat and clean though a little difficult to locate just by the address.||The GPS coordinates sent by the host eventually led us here. Alessandro makes you feel welcome with a short instruction to the use of the apartment and the entrance gates. From the booking until departure there is a very pleasant contact. |The property itself is spacious, clean, complete, private and very comfortable. Only a slight odour from the sink from probably infrequent use can’t spoil the experience. |With a rental car Frascati and Parco dei Castelli Romani are close and well worth visiting when you want to experience Italian life.
