We stumbled across this place "in the middle of nowhere" by chance one evening we were looking for a place to eat.||They went out of their way to make sure our kids (youngest 11 years) got food they wanted and to make them feel welcome, even though this is not really a place for kids/families.||The food was marvellous and delicious, elegantly presented.||The service was excellent!||We also got a tour of the premises after our meal, including the newly opened spa.||Everything, from restroom to decoration was clean, elegant and tasteful.||A bit more pricey than you average family restaurant, but well worth it!||I would love to go back - without kids ;-)||Tip: You feel more comfortable here if you dress up a bit...

Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura la notte tra il 4 ed il 5 gennaio 2025. All’arrivo, nessuno ci ha risposto al citofono. Ha dovuto farci aprire il cancello un signore che lavorava in giardino. La signora della reception stava mangiando e ci ha accolto con la bocca piena, tanto da non riuscire nemmeno a rispondere al nostro saluto. Ci ha detto che non le risultava che avessimo la Spa inclusa, invece mio marito aveva acquistato il pacchetto completo. Data la nostra insistenza, con prenotazione cartacea alla mano, ci ha indicato l’orario a noi dedicato, ma poco dopo ci ha richiamato per dirci di aspettare ulteriormente. Comunque, la cosa più sconcertante è stata che ci ha assegnato una camera che era ancora sporca perché gli ospiti precedenti se ne erano appena andati. Quindi abbiamo aperto la porta e trovato letto disfatto, ciabatte buttate in giro, ecc. A questo punto ci è stata assegnata un’altra camera, ed ho fatto presente che PER ESSERE UN 5 STELLE mancavano i prodotti essenziali, ad esempio la crema per il corpo! Il dispenser del bagnoschiuma era semivuoto. La camera non era assolutamente all’altezza di un 5 stelle, ma almeno era pulita. Nel frigo bar c’erano solo due bottigliette d’acqua e qui è arrivata la seconda sorpresa: la bottiglietta di acqua frizzante sapeva di arancia, quindi era stata usata dagli ospiti precedenti (che evidentemente avevano mangiato un’arancia o un mandarino) e poi riempita! La Spa fortunatamente era pulita e ben fornita, anche se la piscina esterna che sarebbe dovuta essere impostata a 38 gradi era gelida, e la sauna non funzionante. Carina la sala lettura al pian terreno. Per quanto riguarda la colazione in veranda, prodotti assolutamente non all’altezza, e per avere un the caldo ed un cappuccino ci è voluta mezz’ora (praticamente avevamo terminato la colazione). Il cancello dall’interno si sarebbe dovuto aprire automaticamente, invece abbiamo avuto sempre difficoltà. Il personale è assolutamente impreparato e poco cortese. I booked this hotel without knowing so much on the basis of my travel agency recommendation. It is a new hotel, just one year old.||The guys are excellent and this is the key point, from the wonderful Spa Manager to the maître, the receptionist guys, the chef, all them very kind and very skilled in their jobs.||The wellness center is very nice, quite small, but well designed. Swimming pools (hot and cold) is another good point. The hotel is in the middle of the nature in Umbria, very relaxing.||Food and wines at the restaurant are excellent.||They have just some points to improves which is quite normal as they have just started.||In short:...
