Residenza Del Marchese — Hotel in Gualdo Cattaneo

Our stay was ok. The apartment was big for us 3. But we like it, we like the view outside. They have all the stuff you need for the house including the toys for kids. It's like a second home. But the apartment we went into was not that really clean, there's an off smell when you get inside. Spider web all over and there was a scorpion under the dustpan. My husband killed it right away before my 1y/o son got bitten. Our Breakfast for 4days are not enough for us 2persons (they left us 1 bottle of 500ml milk, 3 sachets of toasted sliced bread & 1 pc. of Jam, 2 spoons of sugar in a plastic cup not covered, coffee in a jar). Luckily there's a near supermarket (Eurospin) we were able to have our daily breakfast just like at home. Our pool experience is ok. My family enjoyed it. They also have a mini park for kids. Ho soggiornato nella Residenza del Marchese per due notti e sono rimasta entusiasta. Posto immerso nel verde, tra distese di ulivi, vigneti e colline meravigliose. Modello di accoglienza , il proprietario, Sig. Stefano, è sempre pronto a dare consigli sui luoghi da visitare e le cose da scoprire. Ottima la posizione, strategica direi, a metà strada tra Assisi e Spoleto, posto che siamo riuscite vedere in una giornata, spostandoci facilmente in auto. La struttura è una grande villa, di gestione familiare, rustica, vintage, così come deve essere per mantenere il suo valore storico, visto che sulle pareti della zona giorno sono presenti bellissimi afreschi. Sembra un posto dove il tempo si è fermato. Qui trovate tutto il necessario per una pausa in natura, per staccare la spina e dimenticare le comodità della città. La camera semplice, con una mini cucina e frigo all’interno, ha tutto il necessario, anche qualche dolcetto, fette biscottate e marmellate per fare una colazione, anche del caffè, tè, e latte. Abbiamo riposato benissimo, il posto è fresco anche di notte, anche se sprovisto di aria condizionata, in realtà non serve nemmeno perché in un posto molto ventilato. Esiste una piscina sul retro adatta anche ai bambini, visto che si divertivano tantissimo. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante della struttura che consiglio vivamente. Fanno sia ristorante che pizzeria, noi abbiamo provato i piatti del ristorante, squisiti.. anche i dolci sono da leccarsi i baffi. Anche qui ospitalità e gentilezza non mancano. We went to this agriturismo through a 'smart-box' offer, with a really good price. Our room reflected our lowly status, and we didn't touch the 'breakfast' or cooking utensils in the room, but apart from that, the building was very nice and maybe other rooms are nicer. Clean. I was going to say it was peaceful, which it certainly was in general, but a barking dog did keep me awake for a while one of the nights. The really nice thing was the restaurant.
