Casella del Piano — Hotel in Gubbio

Mi presento,sono Giulia,una ormai "veterana"di questo agriturismo che frequento da anni e nel quale mi trovo come in famiglia, tanto da protrarre la mia vacanza per più di un mese.Inutile parlare dell'agriturismo:ho negli anni speso tanti elogi.... Questo è l'anno delle Olimpiadi ed anche io voglio assegnare un medagliere "personale".Mara, comproprietaria e CHEF. a tutti gli effetti che,solerte,prepara con grande maestria tutte le nostre specialità culinarie umbre.A lei va la PRIMA MEDAGLIA D'ORO ed una sola è poca. Ho il piacere di accompagnarla talvolta a fare la spesa e non nascondo,pur avendo passato da "un po' gli ...anta" di imparare ancora tanto da lei.La cucina è fatica, devozione, amore perché quando si prepara una pietanza bisogna mettere tutti questi ingredienti per realizzare il tutto. Infaticabile,spesso al di sopra delle proprie forze ( stare 5ore fermi , in piedi a preparare quei gustosi ravioli, cappellacci tagliatelle gnocchi che finiamo in un attimo, rispetto al tanto lavoro che c'è dietro) è una grande fatica.Mara è coadiuvata da un team eccezionale: VALENTINA tutto fare, sempre sorridente,una vera SCHEGGIA.MORENA,calma e pronta a tutto,la mia futura badante "PATRIZIA,cuoca bravissima,la regina della CRESCIA.LORI, anche lei medaglia d'oro per la preparazione dei dolci che ogni mattina degustiamo.Cisono poi tutti i giovani universitari che. dimostrano tutta la loro bravura nel servire a tavola .Non posso omettere ADA, giovane cameriera,piccolina, dolce, efficiente, sempre pronta a soddisfarci.RAFFAELE, il componente più giovane della famiglia,merita anche lui una medaglia d'oro perché occuparsi della campagna con il caldo particolarmente opprimente di quest'anno non è impresa da poco.SILVIA,la manager che dorme col telefono all, orecchio ed UMBERTO,il capostipite della famiglia che ha saputo creare tutto quello di cuioggi possiamo godere.LA LORO OLIMPIADE. È OGNI ANNO...

Rooms: these are apartments more than rooms so ideal if you plan on staying for a longer period. Very spacious and with all the necessary utensils. Very quiet area with a view of the countryside. Only downside for us was the soft mattress and thin pillows. The weather wasn't great so we didn't enjoy the facilities (eg swimming pool, sports court...). Breakfast was delicious with freshly baked cakes! Restaurant: small but perfect menu! Everything was tasty and perfectly seasoned. Silvia helped us choose the wine and was spot on! The rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable and quiet....I had the best night sleep! The location is perfect and a great place to spend time to relax but yet be so close the the medieval city of Gubbio. The proprietors are always available and perfect hosts. The food was just incredible....Mara does the cooking and she puts all the great flavours of the region in the food she makes.... And always fresh! The surroundings of the property were immaculate and the pool was a welcome touch during the hot days. I can't say enough great things about Castella Del Piano,...
