Hotel Excelsior — Hotel in Livinallongo del Col di Lana

Lovely little hotel, with very friendly owners and staff.

My motorbike could be parked securely. The room was very clean and spacy. Breakfast is good with a small buffet. I also had the half- board option and the food was well prepared, and very well presented. It tasted great with 2 options for the main course, different every day. I stayed here for 4 days.

The only downside is the traffic noise, as the road is next to the hotel. However, the windows of the room are insulated, and it reduces the noise to an acceptable minimum.

Soggiorno di coppia, dal 27 al 30 agosto 2018 Hotel al centro di vari punti di interesse anche se un po' isolato ma che ne garantisce la tranquillità con garage coperto e di facile accesso. Camera spaziosa e graziosa arredata con mobili semplici ma moderni, completa di cassaforte, il bagno spazioso e ben strutturato il tutto molto pulito. La nostra camera era senza terrazzo e affacciava sulla strada principale che è abbastanza rumorosa ma grazie alle finestre insonorizzate una volta chiuse spariva ogni rumore. Vista splendida del monte Civetta. Il materasso era un po' duro per i nostri gusti ma ci si fa l'abitudine dopo un paio di giorni. Abbiamo soggiornato con la mezza pensione che comprendeva colazione e cena, i piatti si presentavano bene e tutti ottimi dall'antipasto al dolce, la colazione comprendeva tre tipi di dolce, cornetti, yogurt vari, cereali da aggiungere, fette biscottate con marmellate, miele e Nutella, più succo d'arancia e altre bevande calde fatte direttamente dal bar. Per quanto riguarda la colazione salata di esposto c'era poco. Il personale era gentile e disponibile ed hanno accettato molto volentieri il nostro cane di piccola taglia, disponibili anche a darci consigli per i vari luoghi da visitare in zona. Perfect place for a stopover on a cycle tour along the Great Dolomite Road (SR48). Nicely situated between the Passo Falzarego and Passo pordoi. During the afternoon a lot of cyclists and motorcycles stop here for a break but in the evening it is quiet. The restaurant serves good food.
