Villa Cassia di Baccano — Hotel in Loro Ciuffenna

Just returned from a 10 night stay at Villa cassia and have returned fully relaxed, this is an absolutely lovely hotel which comprises of 1,2 or 3 bedroom apartments, our apartment consisted of a kitchen/lounge area and a single interconnecting bedroom with its own bathroom suite, facilities wanted for nothing andwas in excellent order (Fridge/freezer, cooker & oven, washing machine). Great location for exploring the area and what made this holiday perfect the hosts Giancarlo and Sophia, great advice, ever helpful. They advised on what to do and see in the area. The apartment was cleaned every day except Sunday and the restaurant in the hotel served up a fixed menu of 3 courses for 35 euros,we ate there 4 times! the food was excellent being prepared on the day by both Gianluca & Sophia complimented by their own wines (i recommend the Chianti), note if you have an allergy to a course on the menu Giancarlo will accommodate by cooking you an alternative dish.The facility has a swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds, we never had a problem finding 2 and the grounds were beautifully maintained. As you have probably concluded i absolutely loved this place and will be returning.||A special mention needs to go to our hosts for the way they supported an Australian couple who unfortunately the lady broke here leg whilst there and needed to be admitted to hospital and have an operation, the support from the hosts was superb, making phone calls to resolve issues, taking the Ross to the hospital and translating on his behalf into perfect english what was being said, honestly their support was superb and it is reassuring to know that in the event of an unfortunate incident like this they are there to support...

This place is terrific. Either for it’s position or for room facilities. We stayed 11 days and we were so sad to leave the place! The hosts are very helpful kind and try to make your stay very confortable. We really enjoyed our talks with Giancarlo, Sophia and Deborah❤️. Breakfast is very furnished and Sophia is always willing to listen if you need something. The day we left Giancarlo prepared bottles of water so we could have enough for the road and the girls. We had a great appartement with two rooms a living room and kitchen. The pool is perfect for families with kids ( there is a part not deep for kids), every day we passed the mornings by the pool and the afternoon visiting ( very central location max 1h from all the places to see .. Firenze, Siena, Cortona, Arrezzo and more ..). The host give you a lot of advises for places to visit. Definitely I...

Das 'Villa Cassia di Baccano' liegt (grob gesprochen) in einem kleinen Ort nördlich von Arezzo, gut erreichbar über die E35, und dann noch ca 15km Landstrasse.||Das Anwesen besteht aus einem großen Haus mit mehreren Wohnungen, einem Pool, grossem parkähnlichem Anwesen, sowie der ehem. Mühle mit Restaurant / Frühstücksbereich. Die Lage ist direkt an der Landstrasse, wobei dies aber nicht wirklich ins Gewicht fällt, da das Anwesen komplett mit Hecke / Mauer umgeben ist, und man daher nichts von der Strasse sieht, nur ab und zu die Autos hört. Die Apartments sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Allerdings gibt es große Unterschiede: einige (der kleineren Apartments - mit einem Schlafzimmer) haben tolle und große Terrasse, und/oder tollen Blick über die Weiten der Toskana. Andere (zumindest hatten wir leider eines dieser Apartments - mit 2 Schlafzimmern) haben dies nicht.... Kann im Sommer schon etwas deprimierend sein, wenn man im dunklen Apartment sitzt, und draussen ist es so schön... hier hilf jedoch die Möglichkeit, daß man das grosse Grundstück nutzen kann, und genügend Möglichkeiten mit kleinen Sitzecken, Hängematte, etc. gegeben sind. Küche / Kochmöglichkeit ist vorhanden, und kann man auch gut für Kleinigkeiten nutzen. Die Apartments unterm Dach haben Klimaanlage (die nicht immer funktioniert, je nachdem wie viele Geräte gerade laufen...), die anderen haben Deckenventilatoren. Im Sommer wäre die Idealvariante ein Apartment mit Terasse und Klimaanlage. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall vorher nachzufragen. Wenn alle Apartments belegt sind, und auch alle Schlafsofa Optionen genutzt sind, kann es durchaus am Pool voll werden. ||Was dem 'Villa Cassia di Baccano' auf jeden Fall ein großes Plus verleiht, sind Giancarlo und Sophia. Beide sind die 'gute Seele' des Hauses. Es wird versucht, alle Wünsche - wenn möglich - zu erfüllen. Frühstück war gut, Auswahl nicht extrem groß, aber auf jeden Fall sehr gute Qualität der Lebensmittel. ||In Summe: im richtigen Apartment, zur richtigen Zeit, zum richtigen Preis (kann in der Hochsaison doch etwas teuer werden) ist das Cassia di Baccano auf jeden Fall...
