I’m not one usually to submit a review but I couldn’t really let this go. This place isn’t actually like an Air B and B at all. Don’t be fooled. It runs like a hotel with selected opening times which means you can’t actually arrive when you want. It has to be between their lazy / bone idol opening times which is no good when guest are arriving from all sorts of times around the world.
The vibe for an Air B and B wherever I’ve been around Europe is collect the key at what ever time from a safe place, arrive and get welcomed by a nice polite note. That not the case with these rude individuals.
Despite PAYING for an early check in (which we had black and white evidence of) we were still made to wait for 4 hours until we could check in. Even after showing the receptionist the emails exchanged before hand we were still given nothing but grief back from them. No apologies their end either. Customer service is not these people’s strength it seems. In fact one of the receptionist wouldn’t let it go. He came into our room unannounced and still carried on rambling.
You are welcomed to this place like children entering a hostel not like adults. You’re made to pay for bedding, air conditioning and any other little extra that should be including into the price.
What’s worse is their responses to precious bad reviews on Google, Air B and B and Trip Advisor. They respond with lies and facetious remarks. Pathetic!
I’d seriously avoid this place if you’re looking for a cheap stay in Sardinia. There’s plenty of other PROPER Air B and B’s around for cheaper or the same price that would have way more to offer. A lesson learnt for us and I can only hope bookers don’t make the mistake we made.
Oh and also we never got a refund for our early check in....
P.S you can see how they reply to bad reviews below. No apologies and nothing to resolve there end.
They have completely lied about the events that took place. We are a 35-40 year old party, not a bunch of kids.
They are just a bunch of angry men who are not...
Read moreThe place was clean and tidy. Visited as an airbnb service. Check in hours are very difficult. They shut their office for 5 hours approx, 12-5. They will ask you to check in from 5 to 7pm although you have paid for a full day, not so nice. No coffee, tea bags or sugar available in the apartment. You have to purchase breakfast for 5 euros. Extra bed sheets are for a price too, per day!, although they won't change them daily. Nonsense. I would not visit this place again. Airbnb listing says different things from what they say. They claim they don't manage airbnb themselves, they send all the info to airbnb to update the listing. Avoid. Changed to 1 star as...
Read moreThe apartments are very new and good built. Even if it is very hot the apartments are comfortable to live in (with or without air conditioning).||Since some years we are booking residence l'isola cause of its good location close to the kitesurf and windsurf beach of Porto Pollo. Furthermore the infrastructure is perfect with free WiFi, common barbecue place and washing machine. There is a little kiosk in the village and the next supermarket is not far away.||I really recommend residence l'isola if you want to stay in the north of Sardegna cause of its central location between Palau and Santa Teresea di Gallura with nice bays, good restaurants...
