B&B del Lario — Hotel in Mandello del Lario

By far one of the best places I have stayed. Situated a 20 minute walk from Mandello del Lario train station. It is possible to reach the accommodation without the use of a car. From the accommodation it is easy to walk to ATMs, restaurants, the lakeside for a swim, the train station to venture to nearby towns, and a local park. Marco’s accommodation was immaculately clean, has very modern decorations, and looks recently renovated. The room was also very spacious. The views of the mountains and lake from the accommodation are incredible. The air conditioning was very useful during my stay. Breakfast is included and is plentiful. Marco’s lovely parents greeted me from the train station and provided me with a lift to the accommodation. Marco himself helped me purchase train tickets back to the airport and gave me a lift back to the train station with my luggage. Marco was the best host I have ever had and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable! Many suggestions for day trips are provided, Marco himself offers to take you to mountain trails and offers wonderful meditation classes with a mountain view in the evening. Marco was amazing during an issue regarding some lost luggage in Mandello del Lario. He lent me his laptop, a spare bag, and phoned the police to help me. He was successful in finding my luggage and has sent it back to me. Marco was always responsive, highly engaging, and always welcoming. A perfect place to relax away from crowded places yet nearby all you need and little towns or beaches to visit. We have had a perfect stay. It exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed by Marco's parents . They are so nice. They speak Italian and informed us with everything we needed. We received Welcome Messages from Marco as Well and we could ask all we needed to know. The house is amazing. You have an breathtaking view on the lake. Breakfast is plenty ( every day fresh Bread and pastry, juices, yoghurt,....)! The rooms are big and clean. All you need is in the room. ( airco, tv, WiFi,.....) it looked all new to us. We had a separate bathroom which was spotlessly clean. We could use the kitchen for our own use which was perfect for us. We also were allowed to bring our dog. Absolutely fantastic place! Beautiful house with lovely garden, breathtaking lake view that looks even better than in pictures. Quiet and peaceful, perfect if you want to relax. Modern room with big, comfy bed, spacious bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. Very clean. Tasty breakfast. All utilities together with fresh linen and towels provided. Public transport is easily accessible what makes Mandello a perfect starting point for your trips around the lake. The hospitality and kindness of the owners were above expectations.
