If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax without crowds I would absolutely recommend to come to Hotel Aurora in the amazing Island of Elba. The hotel is owned and run by a family and from the first time you arrive, you have a sense of being at home thanks to the incredible and welcoming hosts Giorgio and Venusia who are the best hosts that I met. Giorgio was so helpful and kind with the guests and cares a lot about them and is always at disposal in case of asking for recommendations or advices. For the breakfasts you can taste delicious homemade marmalade as well as homemade cakes and pastries. The hotel is also just a few metres away from the town's beach with crystal clear water. The room is really clean and tidy, and it's cleaned every day and also has air conditioning which is really helpful during hot summer days and the bed is also really comfortable. If you are coming without a car and would like to visit other places on the island this hotel is also situated in a really nice place as the bus stop is just in front of the building. Hotel Aurora is a complex of different appartments very close to the sea with good homemade breakfast owned by a really warm and welcoming Italian family trying to make your stay as good as possible.

It comes with a long check-in time, daily cleaning including new towels, private and public seating area, discount codes for restaurants and the fairy, free umbrellas, and parking next door.

There are restaurants in town as well as in neighbouring towns. The hotel offers lunch and dinner itself too.

The wifi wasn’t as good in our room and the air conditioning didn’t work. I strongly believe that those issues would’ve been fixed if we would’ve reported them. Since we’ve been outdoors pretty much from morning till night it didn’t bother us too much.

My wife and I are currently travelling around Tuscany from our home in Melbourne. We have have found our stay at Aurora to be an extremely positive experience. The room is spotlessly clean with a cleaner visiting our room every day., and a great view out to sea. The breakfast is also excellent and comprehensive, stocked with local produce and home made goodies and always delivered with a friendly service by George and his team.
