My husband and I stayed at this lovely B&B for two nights. We called at the last minute to make a same-day reservation and were delighted that they had one room available (due to a last minute cancellation). Our stay was so wonderful that we found it very difficult to leave! It was by far the best place that we stayed in Italy. The B&B consists of three spacious rooms in a recently restored farm house. Each room has an amazing private bath complete with a jetted shower. The rooms are air conditioned and very comfortable with beautiful, new furnishings. There is a living room area that is open to guests with a TV and plenty of reading on the area. ||The highlight of the stay is definitely the hosts/owners. Tom and Annelise are a lovely Italian couple who recently moved back to Italy after spending many years working in England. They take wonderful care of you throughout your stay and are happy to help with travel suggestions, dinner reservations, translation, etc.! They even let us borrow their bikes for a ride into the nearby town.||Second only to the hosts, breakfast was my next favorite part! Italy is not really known for its breakfast, so breakfast at Il Melograno was a wonderful surprise complete with homemade baked goods, jams, fruit, cereal, juices, tea, and coffee. We ate so much that we didn't have room for lunch on either of the days that we stayed. They have a lovely patio or can set you up at a table for two under the cherry tree if you'd like to eat outdoors.||This was my fourth trip to Italy, and I would venture to say that it was the best place that I have stayed yet! It is located about 30 minutes from the larger city of Ascoli Piceno and is only ten minutes from the coast. You could spend days exploring the little hill towns of the area and absorbing the Marche culture. You also can't beat the value at 60-70E!||We will definitely be back and highly...
Read moreWithout any hesitation I'd recomend this charming little B&B to nature-lovers, people, who prefer welcoming atmosphere, 200% cleanness, personal attitude and the most tasty breakfasts. We stayed there for 9 lovely days. Every day started from a breakfast ritual, when Tomaso and Annelise presented us their masterpieses (home-made cakes, brownies, bread, fruit jellies, yoghurs and fruit, etc.) and after this we discussed our plans for the up-coming day (all the recomendations appeared to be real gems). As we do not like to stay only on the sea, we've tried to discover pearls of Le Marche according to the advices of our wonderful hosts and we've covered more than 1800 km on our car. Special thanks for the selection of restaurants for dinner - we still remember every place. The room is amazing - when you feel as if you're home and there is nothing more to dream about. Le Marche is a perfect reagion of Italy where everybody could get everything he wants - sea, sun, nature, charming little cities and fortresses, shopping and big towns with long and ineresting history. As there are so much things left for us to discover we wish to return and continue our investigation and of corse the only place to stay is Bed & Breakfast Il Melograno.|Un abbraccio da noi e da...
Read moreWe stayed for a week at this great B & B in early April and have nothing but praise for the way we were looked after. ||It made the perfect base for our touring of the local area and our hosts, Annelise and Tomaso, were very helpful when it came to advice on places of interest and restaurants to visit.||The house is recently restored; therefore, the rooms are all newly fitted out. Furnishings are tasteful and the place is well maintained and spotlessly clean. ||Breakfast is a highlight and went well beyond our expectations; much of the food (preserves, breads, cakes, juices, etc) is home made by Annelise.||Annelise and Tomaso, who both speak perfect English, were always most attentive as hosts and made every effort to help us feel at home.||We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to any of our friends and cannot...
