Do Ciacole in Relais — Hotel in Mira

This was the most wonderful stay!!! The staff are beyond incredible, welcoming, efficient and so friendly! The hotel was clean, quiet and so peaceful, the restaurant was a true gem with a chef who has been in the industry for 45 years. We had the most amazing shrimp and lime risotto and excellent service from the staff! Our main point of contact was Clarissa at the front desk, she was so kind, funny and helpful with providing directions, tips and setting up a taxi service that worked for us. We unfortunately were unable to book a rental car for our Venice trip which means we had an incredibly hard time sorting out travel options to and from the heart of Venice. When we called the hotel in a panic, Clarissa was calming and kind enough to set up a taxi driver who was willing (and cheap enough) to take us in to the city daily, morning and night!!! Cannot stress enough that this was the most incredible stay, peaceful and beautiful farmland surroundings, incredible pool, wonderful staff and service. We will be coming back here as soon as we can!! Thank you to all the staff that made this stay so perfect! (One of the best parts was seeing the hotel cats Pepe & Miao living their best lives hanging around the hotel, they were so cute...

This Villa is beautiful & so charming! I could happily spend a week here even though it's very remote. Totally depends on what you want from your location. It's approximately €40-50 for a taxi to Venice. There is a local train station but the station is not walkable. There is a highly recommended local pub called Momi's.

The best thing about this villa is the staff! They are incredibly friendly, helpful & go out of their way for you. The food is super tasty! We were given a little leaving bag of homemade cookies 😋 I didn't want to leave!

This villa is more like 4/5* not 3. Don't be put off the the star rating. They can't get more than 3 because they don't have a 24hr reception but they do leave instructions on how they can be contacted in an emergency.

Genuinely some of the most helpful staff I've ever encountered when traveling. The rustic atmosphere will appeal to those looking to enjoy a peaceful stay and the hotel is incredibly charming itself. Plus, fans of cats will appreciate Pepe and Mal, who are also considered part of the staff 😉

One recommendation for foreign visitors that might not have transportion is to rent a car. The train stations are within a couple miles. However, it isn't necessarily walkable due to narrow country roads without sidewalks and taxis/Uber are overpriced. Venice is a 20 minute train ride from the Mira-Mirano station. There's parking at the train station.
