HOTEL FELIX — Hotel in Montecchio Maggiore

Everything about this family run hotel is good from breakfast till a sound sleep in the quiet room refreshing you for the next day. I visited during Vicenza Oro Jan 2016 (Jew Fair). The interesting part is the team of TWIN brothers Roberto and Claudio. One of them is married and has a paunch (that is the only difference between the two Ha!) and the best part was their father Danio himself shuttled picked/dropped us to the exhi venue so timing was flexible as if having your own private transfer at your convinient time. In fact they are so courteous they even dropped/picked me to/from Train Station when I visited Venice for a day. Nice clean rooms. Decent place. Definitely visitable again. It's on the outskirts of Vicenza away from the main city but all you need is a drink in your room after a long tiring day & they provide complimentary water/soda from a fridge (take all you can) at reception ...cheers !!! On our recent stay at the Felix Hotel, we were completely blown away by the incredible service we received from the moment we arrived. Throughout our stay, the staff were courtesy, friendly, caring and constantly wanting to please. Cappuccinos, espresso and waters were always being offered. Breakfast had a nice variety of foods for all tastes. The rooms, although simple, were well maintained and clean. Security for your car was constantly monitored and in a locked area. The best example I can give for the incredible service comes from the day we left. We had to leave early, before the start of breakfast at 7am. One of the staff members, informed us the night before that he will be coming in early to make sure we had a good breakfast before we left. Ich war für eine Nacht im Rahmen einer Radtour im Felix Hotel. Eigentlich gibt es hier nichts zu meckern, aber es ist halt kein Urlaubshotel, sondern ein Autobahnhotel und ein bisschen hat es auch diesen Flair.||||Was absolut positiv hervorgehoben werden muss, ist die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Hier können sich wirklich sehr viele Hotels eine dicke Scheibe abschneiden. Sehr freundlicher und herzlicher Empfang. Ich habe mir von der Rezeption eine Pizza bestellen lassen, da es mir nicht gut ging und ich abends nicht noch mal los wollte. Mir wurde sofort angeboten, die Pizza gerne noch mal in den Ofen zu geben usw. - kurz und gut ein toller Service.||||Die Lage wie schon erwähnt direkt an einer Autobahnausfahrt beziehungsweise Zufahrt, aber mit geschlossenen Fenster hat man davon nichts mitbekommen. Ansonsten liegt das Hotel auch eher in einem Industrieviertel. Ich kann leider nicht sagen, ob es in der Nähe Restaurants oder Cafés gibt. Im Hotel gab es auf jeden Fall nur eine kleine Snackbar.||||Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und für ein Einzelzimmer ausreichend groß - breites Bett, Schreibtisch mit Stuhl, Telefon, Flachbild TV, Klimaanlage, Kofferablage, Gardrobe und großer Kleiderschrank. Zudem gab es zwei kleine Flaschen Wasser zur freien Verfügung. ||||Das Bad war okay, hier merkte man allerdings den Zahn der Zeit. Trotzdem war es sauber, ebenso wie das Zimmer und das gesamte Hotel. Das Bad war ausgestattet mit einer Dusche, Waschtisch, Bidet, WC, Badhocker, Kosmetiktücher usw.||||Das Frühstück wird in einem Kellerraum serviert. was nicht ganz so schön war. Die Auswahl war sehr italienisch, sprich viele süße Sachen, es hat aber ausgereicht um nicht hungrig in den Tag zu starten. Heißgetränke gab es aus dem Automaten, ebenso wie verschiedene Fruchtsäfte, die allerdings sehr süß waren. Ansonsten Toast, Marmelade, Joghurt, ein bisschen Obst usw.||||Wifi war kostenfrei und funktionierte einwandfrei. Mein Fahrrad konnte ich im Hotel unterstellen für Autos gibt es einen abgesperrten Parkplatz. Wie gesagt es ist definitiv kein Urlaubshotel, aber für die eine Nacht war es eine gute Wahl, zumal das...
