We arrived in August with anxiety based on recent reviews but with hope as we had been told new management had recently taken over the hotel. They informed us of this change by email and that new policies were in place to reassure us of warm welcome and a happy stay in their hotel. |Check in was excellent and we must really show appreciation for the reception staff and especially Alessandro- a gentleman with abundant kindness and concern for the guests. He is a real gem and credit to the hotel. Nothing was impossible for him ! |The new management are fantastic and friendly. Full of ambition for future plans for the hotel. |We stayed in the junior suite- excellent. |The pool is wonderful and no problem with sunbeds. Plenty of beds and a beautifully clean pool. |Breakfast is now transformed under new management and consists of cereal, eggs, bacon, breads, yoghurts, cakes as well as tea and coffee. Served by young and polite staff who have the job well organised. |Previous reviews from before July 2015 should be ignored. Emmanuel, the new manager and assisted by Tundra, have skilfully transformed the hotel and were happy to share their plans for future and necessary development. |The location of the hotel is very quiet and most if not all entertainment will need to be found in main resort. |A relaxed environment will be found here with a family friendly pool side atmosphere. |We recommend...
Read moreWe visit this area a lot because my husband has relations there and thought we would try this hotel being nearer to family but will not be staying there again. The staff were very friendly cannot say any different but the hotel is indeed in need of some attention. My son and grandson stayed on level 1 and we were on level 2 because that is apparently where the family rooms are. He used the fire escape one time to come to our floor and nearly fell down the first level of steps due to water laying on the steps, this was caused by a constant leaking pipe running down the steps. We reported this and it was said it would be dealt with, nothing happened it was still running when we left. Lovely pool but it was dirty, black in the corners of the steps and bits at the bottom of the pool. There is a corner of the pool where a jacuzzi is (not working) we asked about this and were told an engineer is coming, wasn't repaired the whole time we were there. 4 umbrellas for the whole of the pool. Lock broken on the pool toilet. Bedrooms very small and nowhere to put anything. Only one shelf in the wardrobe and we were in three. Mini bar - 2 bottles of water, one which had been left from the previous people as it as half empty. Read moreThe Eden Park Hotel in Montemarciano (Ancona - Italy) is by far the worst in every detail, especially regarding to cleaning and hygiene||||- The sheets and bath towel were changed only if we asked for it||- The bathroom was not clean (there is mold on the surface of the tiles that would be easly cleaned if they simply pass a cloth on it)||- The shower never have been cleaned on all the time we have been there (I do not know how much time is not clean because the tiles are yellow)||- In the room we can hear everything from the other rooms||- Breakfast is the poorest we have ever had, lack of bread, butter, milk and other basic things, but they put them on the coffe shop after our breakfast||- Very, very poor internet connection and bad mobile signal inside the building ||- Open, uncovered and unguarded...
