Hotel Castello di Septe — Hotel in Mozzagrogna

Best coincidence that could happened. After a long day, feeling terrible unwell, my partner found this amazing hotel. We booked only one night. When we arrived we were very kind and friendly welcomed. The Castello looks amazing from outside. Beautiful and really looked after to. Our double room (standard) was big, very clean, the bathroom amazing and so much details made the stay very relaxing and nice. After the night, we slept very good in this comfortable bed, we had a very good breakfast. Everything you need, warm, cold, meaty, healthy and the coffee is like heaven. We met a very nice guest who lives abroad but is a local and he told us about the beautiful beach just 10 minutes drive. So after seeing that beach, we asked for another night and we’re happy they weren’t fully booked. We enjoyed the afternoon alone in the pool. The pool was clean and very big and the view and the park it’s just like a fairy tale. We also had dinner in the restaurant and we simply enjoyed it. It’s good, absolutely affordable and you taste that the chef cooks with passion and love. So we loved it so much, that we expanded it again and we stayed 3 nights in this beautiful Castello. Daniela and her team are friendly, helpful and an absolute outstanding hotel staff. Many thanks to all - you made a first unfortunately “horrible” trip (due to accident and sickness) to a wonderful memory and a wish to come back. Beautiful location, breathtaking beach and the best food ever....

Don't expect any help with your bags. The Reception staff were atrocious, all 3 of them behaved like a 1 or 2 star hotel. Flatly refused to organise any help with our bags from the car, so I had to carry them up to our rooms. My wife was sick as a results of eating the fish pasta (she's a nurse so she knows it was that) the reception staff, were dismissive, did not believe us, and did not even take the lunch price off the bill. So we paid for my wife to be ill, and she missed a last night out with our friends because of this. There were a few other things the reception failed to do, they didn't appear to understand it was a 4 star hotel. ||||A real shame the reception chose to let this place down, our friends live nearby and run a B&B, they are always looking for places to recommend when friends, family and guests. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place.
