Agriturismo Sa Mamaioa — Hotel in Narabuia/Narbolia

We had a splendid evening thanks to the warm welcome of the host and his wife. There were 8 of us, 4 of whom are indigenous people of Sardinia. It says a lot when 8 people drive 120 kilometers to have dinner and come back. I want to tell you it's worth it. We will definitely return there and even stay there for a night or two. A hospitable host, delicious food, a well-groomed garden, everything is so clean that there are even no mosquitoes. How wonderful it is when people keep their roots and go forward. Beautiful accomodation set in very attractive gardens on the edge of the friendly village of Narbolia and brilliantly located for trips to nearby Sinis Peninsula, Tharros, Oristano etc||Ivo, Emily (and Axyl!) run a superb agriturismo business where great pride is taken over the quality of the loca,l organically produced foods and wine.||Emily is a wonderful cook and the leisurely evening meals on the patio were the highlight of our whole trip. What we like about this charming family run (like most agriturismos are) is that the portions are reasonable for the table. Some Agriturismos are just overwhelming with the amount of food. We loved especially the antipasti of tuna/crab and the chicken liver as well. The beans in white vinegar serve as a great palate refresher too. Really friendly service.
