Casa Gavenniae — Hotel in Nocciano

It’s so difficult to describe my emotions about my short stay at the CASA GAVENNIAE with Laura, Rafael and their family but I think it can be summed up in this simple statement:|||| “The love, hospitality and friendship they shared with a total stranger is something that I have never encountered anywhere else in all of my extensive travelling”||||From they moment I set foot in their fabulous home I felt apart of this wonderful family. In a short space of time they have created a unique experience of hospitality. They are proud to share their home and all of its extensive amenities with their guests.||||Elegantly decorated and furnished bedrooms (with very comfortable beds) and the enormous modern shared bathroom that boasts a large spar/whirlpool bath and a huge shower, all add to the quality of this property.||||Self-service breakfast is available in a large upper room with a generous array of cereals, breads, fresh cakes, fruits, juices and copious quantities of hot coffee.||||During the day you can relax in the large garden, in hammocks, swings or loungers and the youngsters (and adults) can enjoy a game or two of pool in the games room whilst the more energetic can borrow bicycles and explore the countryside, there is also plenty of private space to park your car.||||You can’t put a price or value to the service they provide and coupled with the stunning scenery in this location it makes a perfect base to explore the region at your own leisure||||Pescara and the coast is a short 30 mines drive away with the local airport equally close, the small township of Nocciano is a few mins drive or a brisk 15-minute walk away. In the town there is a beautiful restaurant located inside the castle serving high quality food and wines at a most reasonable prices. Small shops, bars and a few more restaurants are also located here.||||I know that whenever I am in Abruzzo again I shall go back, if not to stay but just to say “ciao” to some fabulous people that I am proud to...

"Scappo dalla città"... è stato il tema portante della ricerca di un posticino fatto su misura x me!!! E qui ho trovato "il tutto"! Silenzio, natura, paesaggi mozzafiato e soprattutto loro: Laura e Raffaele che insieme a Mila, Otto e il pacioccone Natalino, hanno reso la mia permanenza in questo posto incantato, una vera e propria favola!|La struttura (la vecchia scuola del paese) ristrutturata in maniera eccellente, curata nel minimo dettaglio, pulita, dotata di tutti i confort moderni (aria condizionata , zanzariere, pale a soffitto) ma che non ne hanno deturpato l'originalità.|L'empatia, il calore, la presenza costante ma discreta di Laura e Raffaele, la loro offerta continua di servizi (piscina, idromassaggio...che io chiamo coccole) mi hanno fatta sentire subito a mio agio. |Colazione a 5 stelle, ricca, varia e abbondante...|Insomma...le mie aspettative superate alla grande dalla realtà che ho vissuto!!!|Se cercate un posticino x "staccare la spina", questo è quello giusto!!! |E se nelle valutazioni x recensire le strutture esistesse la Lode, Casa Gavenniae la meriterebbe...

A volte, in modo inaspettato, ci si imbatte in situazioni talmente piacevoli da essere di gran lunga al di sopra delle aspettative. È il caso di questo B&B situato nelle campagne di Nocciano, che ha sede in una casa colonica di origini settecentesce sapientemente riattata  dalla incantevole Laura e dal di lei consorte Raffaele. Premurosi e gentili, mai invadenti, sono i migliori padroni di casa che l' ospite possa incontrare. La struttura, per gli amanti del B&B di charme, è nella sua apparente semplicità un autentico sogno ad occhi aperti, un salto a piè pari indietro nel tempo. La squisita colazione "da cartolina" servita in un ambiente da fiaba, l'ozio sotto il patio conversando amabilmente, o il riposo all'ombra del salice dopo aver fatto il bagno in piscina, è ciò che può capitarvi se avrete la fortuna di visitarlo.
