You would find no better place to stay than AgriBarocco. I have never visited any location that expresses as much passion into what they do than AgriBarocco, this is reflective in the service you will recieve.

I can confidently say that the food at AgriBarocco was the best food we had in Sicily. This applies to both the breakfasts and the dinners. Not only is the food itself fresh, delicious, and well presented, but the whole experience of dining at AgriBarocco is one I shall never forget. Both breakfasts and dinners often came with a complimentary unexpected dish which was never short of amazing, and all food came with an explanation of where the ingredients are from and how it has been cooked. The skill, effort, and passion, placed into every breakfast and dinner by the friends at AgriBarocco results in the dining experience being a Michelin Star and one you should not miss.

AgriBarocco is situated very conveniently in relation to Catania airport, this being a very simple one hour drive that you can spend solely on the motorway. This was very much appreciated being a first time driver abroad. It is also within close driving distance to many beautiful quiet beaches, and amazing towns like Noto and Ragusa Ibla. Overall, you wont be short of things to do staying at AgriBarocco.

Staying in Suite Modica was an amazing experience, the clean private pool was a needed luxury on those beautiful hot days. Inside the suite is also a sight to behold which is comfortable, well laid out, and full of character.

Vincenzo, Rosario, Vanessa, and Adriana are the most amazing hosts and will really make you feel at home for the duration of your stay. They all put so much effort into making sure your comfortable, well fed with amazing homemade Sicilian food, and that you always have something to do at the accommodation and nearby places.

In conclusion, book your stay at AgriBarocco. You will...

If you’re looking to be welcomed into a Sicilian family, on a magnificent property - you must book this resort. The kindness, love and generosity shown by the owners is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in hotels around the world. They clearly love their property and want to make sure every guest leaves feeling like a part of their family. The pool is a wonderful place to relax and despite only 4 rooms they have a pool bar and serve delicious apertivo every day. They will provide recommendations on all the day trips you can do (with perfect parking recommendations) making this property an ideal spot if you want to explore Noto, Syracuse, Ortigia, Ragusa and some of the incredible beaches in the area! By far one of the most memorable parts of this resort is their restaurant! We ate there on two nights and it was some of the best Sicilian food we ate during our entire trip. My best advice would be to let them pick the menu and wine - and be taken on a gastronomic feast - you really feel like you’re living (and eating) like a local. This is a true hidden gem in the south of Sicily and if you’ve come this far to be reading this review - don’t think about it any further, book...

I booked this place because it had so many 5 star reviews and completely understand why. Truly unmatched hospitality from Vincenzo & Vanessa. First the location on the citrus grove is stunning and the fact that there are only 4 suites means the pool and farm is so peaceful. I ate in the restaurant twice and the food was really fresh and deliciously seasoned with home grown herbs plus twists using the citrus from the farm (like a lemon pesto.) The breakfast was also so delicious and creative with cakes that changed every day, a selection of loads of different jams as well as herbal teas and fresh blood orange juice. special thanks to Vincenzo and Vanessa who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and met any requests I might have had. I didn’t have a car but they offered to collect anything I needed from the store and even made me an ad hoc caprese salad when the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening. I’ve stayed in multiple hotels and agriturismi but this was truly a special experience and I would really urge you to book it 🥰🥰🥰...

I don’t even know where to start! This was one of the most beautiful vacation spots I’ve ever been to and I wish we could have stayed longer. The family of AgriBarocco is so welcoming that we almost felt we were part of the family too. I’ve never experienced such attention to detail and hospitality. The days on the farm were relaxing and during our roundtrip this was definitely our highlight. From the delicious breakfast to the mindblowing dinners, everything is homemade with organic and regional products from the farm. We loved hanging out by the pool and another highlight of the trip was definitely the really fun cooking class with Nonna Ninetta. The little houses are cozy, beautifully furnished and private. Thank you to Vincenzo, Rosario, Vanessa and Adriana for making our bellies and hearts very very happy! We can’t wait to come back :)

Consigliatissimo.
