We returned yesterday from this wonderful week spent at the Hotel Club Eloro in Noto. Structure that strikes at first glance for the entrance and interior and exterior spaces. I found the staff, all friendly, polite and always with a smile. Excellent cleanliness everywhere, bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, swimming pool, swimming pool toilets. The smell of cleanliness is imperative in this establishment. Even the beach sand is very clean and well maintained. Beach with deckchairs and parasols in line and lifeguard always present even in the swimming pool. Another positive point, its cuisine with, to say the least, sensational chefs who, with their expert skills, they know how to offer numerous delicacies, every day, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With a more savory option between Sicilian, meat or fish, Mexican, Ibanese and how could the Pizzeria miss. Beyond the room, the buffet is immense. Excellent cuisine with high quality products and everything is really excellent, prepared with care and love and those who love cooking like me understand it immediately and cooking for 700 people is not that simple. I was really struck to see at 7:20 a.m. in the breakfast room, in addition to the exceptional buffet full of everything and at will, the chef who prepares creep and omolette for breakfast or lunch who makes spaghetti with fish... exceptional... ...to the eyes and the palate. All this was then worked out with a group of animators....ha ha ha....with muscle toning, stretching, ping-pong, table football and many other various fantasies to entertain us, but without ever be intrusive or annoying. . Wonderful and also very good with children. Then from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. On the spectacular poolside porch, lulled by the music and the voice of DJ Tony Truly a superb voice in whatever song he attempted these evenings, very good Tony, keep it up, I wish you lots of success. Of course, he is also good at accompanying you if you want to sing and do a few songs. I could still write a lot, but there are really so many things to see and I am certain of one thing, very certain in fact, That behind this organization which functions like a Swiss watch, in addition there is a large number of workers who know how to communicate Among them, there is a Grand Director Director Very attentive to everything and everything who knows his job well and knows how to operate the structure. A beautiful person respectful and polite who I am happy to have met. Thank you to all the staff of Eloro Club Keep doing this and you will always succeed. I recommend you try it and it is simply fantastic. We will come back with family and friends I forgot Exceptional...
Read moreStayed a week at the end of June, 2024 and sadly it left quite a negative impact in my otherwise great Sicily vacation.
Negatives: The AC is central and does not appear to do much except throw a little air in the room. The temperature was 28* when outside it was 32. This was truly horrific considering the sea climate - felt like a sauna 24/7. The same was true in multiple other rooms from our group. When I reported it in the reception, the maintenance came in 30 minutes and just confirmed that this is the max (coldest setting) and nothing else can be done (said sorry shrugged and left).
The hotel is old (70/80 style) and was renovated at a point, however many things are broken/highly overused. The plastic window covers get stuck constantly (had to call maintenance again for a fix...), the shower holder is broken, the drains on both the toilet and the bath were barely draining. Due to 1 of the bath covers being broken, when the water gets out - the whole room gets flooded...
There is a hotel beach but as no one is monitoring it - people throw old/hotel towels from 8:00 to reserve sunning beds. So if you go at 10 after breakfast as a normal person, everything is occupied even if only ~1/4 of the people are there.
The king size bed is actually 2 split singles with hard springs, basic cheap mattresses.
The door lock cannot be locked with the key - only the knob on the outside serves as the lock.
The breakfast was fixed with very few options which were the same each day. The dinner had a little more but was still very limited with things such as no white meat dish at all etc (did not see a pizza once). Combine that with a very crowded and not so large unventilated canteen.
Positives: The personnel were kind and spoke English. When reception had to call the maintenance guy to fix things - it happened fairly fast.
The floors are tiled and were cleaned daily, towels changed (if you throw them on the floor specifically).
The hotel is on first line, with a private beach 100m from it and also a paid minibar.
Very family-friendly pool area with a lot of kids. The main pool is ~ 20m×20m and there is a smaller pool...
Read moreI had a lovely vacation with my husband at this hotel. The private beach is beautiful, and I always found the pool to be clean. The staff was very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I felt in peace during my stay. However, the hotel needs renovation and many repairs, especially in the rooms. The bathroom fixtures were rusty, the bed was uncomfortable because I could feel the springs squeaking; the air conditioning barely worked, and the shower cabin was very uncomfortable . My stay at this hotel would have been almost perfect if the room had been more comfortable. Another equally important detail: the food. The food would have been quite decent if it were a public school cafeteria, but Hotel Eloro is a four-star all-inclusive hotel in Sicily! Italian cuisine is one of Italy's main tourist attractions, and I feel like staying at this hotel completely missed out on the gastronomic experience. The ice cream was of poor quality, the pasta was tasteless, the drinks from the vending machines were terrible, the coffee was bad, and the cocktails were even worse. The pizzeria was decent, but you can only get there with a reservation, and there was never any room, or the girl you were supposed to speak to never showed up. My husband and I stayed at the hotel for nine days and only got to eat pizza once because the bad organisation of the reservation system. Another point: the hotel claim it's an all-inclusive, but that's not true. Only drinks from the vending machine and a few bad tasting cocktails are included. Otherwise, you have to pay for the halfway-decent cocktails. The cleaning staff should be better at maintaining the rooms. The only service they provided during our stay was making the bed and changing the towels sometimes ; otherwise, they didn't vacuum the floor or clean anything beyond that. In conclusion, there's a lot of room for improvement, but it's still an enjoyable hotel thanks to the paradisiacal beach, the cleanliness of the pool, and the friendliness of the staff. If you improved the food a little, did some maintenance, and made the pizzeria more accessible, this hotel...
