We had a fantastic stay with this lovely family. Three of us adults shared a room, my wife, my niece and I. It was very spacious and the beds were comfortable.|We had dinner on property it was SO delicious. Do not miss this opportunity! |The pool was fantastic. Temperature and chlorine levels were perfect and there are plenty of seating options. There are limited rooms so it was never crowded. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. |The olive groves are just magical with the ancient trees everywhere. We enjoyed listening to the cool breeze blowing through the trees every evening and loved walking through the grove in the morning light...so beautiful |The olive oil produced here is quite lovely, light and fruity. The farmer comes from a long line of olive oil producers. They are a historical family in the area and have been stewards of the many of the oldest olive trees in the region for many generations. Corrado knows his stuff! Save room in your luggage for a jug of his liquid gold, you...
Read moreWe had a wonderful three nights at Masseria La Grave. Set amongst old olive groves, the Masseria is an 18th century building with a number of apartments all at ground floor level … and quite private. A 1400 year old olive tree sits near the entrance. The kitchenette was well equipped for all our needs - but Agnese prepared a good breakfast each day in the dining area - and we opted to eat there in the evenings, dining on Agnese’s Puglian dishes - often five different dishes to complete the meal. Agnese was keen to speak about Puglian cookery and to share tips on preparing the dishes. |Corrado looked after the property with its lovely swimming pool … and he was keen to discuss the history of the house which was in the family for 5 generations.|Easy access to local towns once you got used to the roads… we visited Ostuni and Monopoli, as well as finding time to swim in the Adriatic … try the small beach at Monticelli. |All in all a great stay with wonderful hosts in...
Read moreWe stayed at Masseria La Grave near Ostuni / Rosa Marina through Citalia . The 1 bed apartments are comfortable , very clean but compact particularly the bathrooms. There is no separate comfortable indoor seating area but we didnt need it as we used the patio. In the Carubbo apartment , note there is no opening window in the beroom area and the air con is some distance away. It wasn't a problem for us but might be for others.||||The pool is very large but I would suggest adding some sun shades, there is shade under some trees but if all 5 apartments were in use it might be tight for space. ||Overall externally a bit of paint here and there could be done but in a way that added to the charm. The owner was very friendly but spoke little English so we got by in French . ||A very relaxing atmosphere and a great location between the beach c 2 kms and Ostuni 5 kms - for dinners in...
