I stayed here in July and let me tell you it was spectacular. It was my first time in the area and I was blown away with the beauty and the serenity along with the amount of things to do. It’s set a gorgeous old village with your quintessential cobbled streets and tight turns meaning you feel really immersed in Italian mountain life. The nearest town is only 15 minutes walk down the hill and has plenty of places for a standing espresso, it also has a train station if you are looking to head further afield. 40 mins up the valley you hit Sauze d’Oulx, famous for skiing but in summer has lots of hiking trails and a stunning old town. The apartment was modern but surrounded by rustic Italian flare. There were excellent facilities with some nice personal touches like coffee and tea meaning I had everything I needed. Ange and Ash were great hosts and clearly have a fantastic knowledge of the area as well as great local connections meaning they are full of ideas for things to do. My particular highlight was having my breakfast in the courtyard while listening to the sounds of the village pass me by.
