IL GALLUZZO Resort & Residence — Hotel in Passignano sul Trasimeno

Lorenzo's place in the Umbrian hills is absolutely marvelous. The views of the countryside and The lake alone are worth the trip. The house consists of eight independent apartments, all clean and well maintained . We travelled with two of our boys and found the living space more than enough for all four of us. There's a small But well equipped kitchen area and a great big lawn outside complete with pool and stone barbecue , both if which were put to good use. This part of Umbria is fantastic and you can easily spend your entire holiday just driving aimlessly from village to village. Lorenzo was an absolutely fantastic host. Always helpful and had some excellent recommendations regarding local facilities and points of interest. We couldn't be more happy and grateful for all his help . We spent 6 nights at Lorenzos place and had a wonderful time. We booked a room which was quite small but offered a big terrace with a great view over the landscape and the Lago Trasimeno. The rooms are provided with TV and free WLAN (which was really fast!!!) If you book a room you can use a public fridge. The apartments offer more space and a kitchen. We had a wonderful stay with our 2 kids at Lorenzo's place.A very uncommon piece of nature and freedom,in a beautiful region...The kids loved a lot the animals going around, and the pool and the arty attractions allowed us to make new discoveries everyday! During our stay we helped to refurbish part of the roof of the main "celebration room",a creative job we easily could combine with the holidays.
