My family and I stayed here as we had a wedding to attend around 30mins drive away. We had 1 studio and 1 2 bed cottage,these both exceeded expectations,rustic and homely with all the amenities on hand including a fan. The pool area was well maintained with a refreshing temperature, plenty of loungers and umbrellas to stay in the shade if you wish. Breakfast was beautiful, continental, home made where possible. The dinner was simply amazing fresh local produce plenty of starters and antipasti, full dinner plates and yummy home made puddings, the local wine from the vineyard nearby went down a treat. Read moreWe have just left Il Moro after a week long holiday and I wish we could have stayed longer. A few miles from Perugia, in the hills of Umbria, this is a fantastic place for a family holiday. It's within easy reach of Assisi, Gubbio, Citta di Castello etc, although, if you don't feel like sight seeing, it's wonderful just to relax by the pool in the shade.||Our apartment, on the top floor, was spacious and comfortable - but not so smart that the children couldn't run about and enjoy themselves. ||We ate in the restaurant 3 times during the week and the menu is limited but I can't rate the food highly enough. Read moreIl moro country house is a beautiful,quiet place to spend your vacation. The appartment we stayed in was big and clean. The breakfast is delicious (especially the italian sweets!).There is a pool near the house which is very nice and is with a great view. Places like Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Spoleto are not far away and easy to reach.||In summary it was just a wonderfull place to stay!||Tip : if you are not cooking in your appartement but still want to eat close to home, eat at the country house.
