We recently had a very pleasant three-night stay at Villa Bellavista in Pescara. The house is tastefully furnished, and comfortable, with a wonderful view of Pescara and the sea. We spent plenty of time in lounge chairs on the front lawn. We were two couples and stayed in rooms 5 and 6 with a shared bath. One room had a foam cushion on a queen bed (very comfy) and a view of the sea. The other was little bigger, but without the view, with twin beds and a closet (the other room didn’t have a closet). Giuseppe and his wife were gracious hosts. They will speak to you as little or as much as you want. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast (although not that fresh, and bland coffee). We also had a bottle of wine and a couple of us had lunch for an extra charge (a little expensive). ||||Some things to keep in mind: You really need a car to stay here. You don’t need to pay for parking “inside the gate” and actually it’s inconvenient because there is only one driveway which can require some car juggling. There are three dogs…two big ones that hang by the driveway and you hardly see, a little one that likes to hang around, and at...

Bellavista is a great place.|Giuseppe and Luciana are really friendly hosts and they'll make sure you feel like home.|I chose to stay in a bedroom with a private bathroom.|Bedroom number 1 had a confortable couples bed and a private terrace with a great view.|From there I could see the sea, the mountains and Pescara's downtown.|Giuseppe cooks like an Italian Chef and make a real italian "pasta". |I had a great time during "la cena" (dinner) with good company, good chat and good wine. ||You can catch a bus from the Central Station for € 1,20 and walk 10 more minutes or take a taxi for € 15,00.|Pescara is a beautiful city and it is easy to know it in 2 days. ||I recommend Bellavista for those who search a peaceful time close to nature. |Bellavista (it means great view in Italian) Country. Make no mistakes. ||I really want to come back soon, while I'm living in Italy. ||For those who want to be close to the city and night life and be close to the city, is suitable to choose somewhere downtown.||Grazie per tutto Giuseppe!...

This is not a hotel! It is in the middle of nowhere, and hard to find as there is no sign to indicate the location. It is a large private house, run by an elderly gentleman and, apparently, his wife. If you are afraid of dogs, this is not a place for you- you will be greeted by a huge black dog, (which is hopefully trained and obedient), but even as a dog lover I would not want to find myself in its presence without the owner nearby. There is a nice but unkept front yard, and a wonderful veiw from the back rooms. You will wake in the middle of the night to the eerie sounds of several dogs howling, and in the early morning, to the chatter and household noises in front of your room door. There is no parking outside, you park on the grass along the road, if there is any space available. I found none, and had to put the car in the front yard, for which I was charged extra. ||All in all, an adventure, a different place, very...
